I thought by reviews - that it was going to be fabulous, full book- however it was thin and not so much information, in my opinion...photos were a disappointment; I was expecting gorgeous photography.

I loved the book and learned a lot of cool facts.

This book is magical. Anytime someone picks it up everything else seems to just stop. They are instantly mesmerized by the beautiful photographs. I had a hard time getting it wrapped for my one daughter because my other daughter, then my husband, wouldn't put it down long enough. I immediately ordered another one for my daughter's friend! Nicely made book, great photos, just enough words.

I bought this book got my granddaughter. It explains things in a great way for kids and still interesting for adults. It shows a picture of a penny and shows super small snowflakes they're actual size next to the penny.

I purchased this book because of the incredibly professionally done photos of real snowflakes. Kenneth Libbrecht is an internationally known snowflake photographer, and this book is one of his very best. There is lost of interesting information on the formation of snowflakes. I highly recommend this book.

It was not a hard copy. I don,t really like like on line books. I like to hold it in my hands and then pass it on.

Beautiful pictures, not as scientific as I thought, bit of a coffee table book. Arriuved in good time despite postal problems with weather.

This is a book of wonder and beauty suitable for a child with an inquiring mind. My six year old grandson loved it as did his mom who read it many times with him. The lovely photographs and intricate drawings along with the text that artfully describes the science behind snowflake construction makes this book a keepsake that can be enjoyed over and over again.
