Phat IGSPF204PF, 4" x 20" Pre-Filter, 4 x 20 inches, Silver

It came banged up in manufacturer packaging , seems nicely made ,heavy. I requested for extra packaging because if these reviews and that didnt happen. I can tell damage is from shipping ,luckily nothing that would prevent using it . Phats packaging is sub standard ,below par for a filter that costs almost $200 . Its hooked up and working , let's see if this brand lasts longer than 9mo. Would've been 4 star if it wants so banged up, I mean the top and bottom flanges were both bent beyond straightening out. Unless phat redesigns their packaging every one shipped will arrive the same way . Pre filter is crap , I can tell already at 1st washing it will pull apart, hell it already is just from putting it on , ots a shame it seems like a good product, sturdy and the skimp on protecting it with cheap packaging and cheap prefilterUPDATE 10/12/2020The prefilter is actually working pretty good , still have to see if handles being washing out but decided to order 2 prefilters to have on hand (prefilter is the woven white about version an inch thick, not the cloth version shown in pics) imo the woven is easier on your exhaust fan than the fabric. ..OVERALL I WOULD SAY THE FILTER'S WORTH THE MONEY

This is regarding the Fhat 6X39 filter. When I opened the package with was what I found. The internal part of the filter looks ok. I was hoping the seller might see this post and give advice. I have contacted Amazon as well. I have read a few reviews of damages. I would say the packaging could be improved for the wiehht of the package .

Came a little banged up, a few dents on the can, but just cosmetic. Works great.

These filters are great. They used to comes with the plastic straps to attach the filter, but now they come with big rubber bands that hold the pre filter on. These bands work great and they are so easy to use. Much better than the plastic bands.The Phat filters I have used have seemed to last just fine over a year. I have one that is about 1 1/2 years old and it is still working. I rotate these every few years so I always have some new ones and I have no odor issues.I highly recommend these filters.

these pre filters - can be washed and reused (in my expernce) up to 4 times.i recomend (1st)-- soaking in water with a cup full of (spray power) just let soak for 1 hour then squese the filter (2nd) repeat step 1 with clean water and spray power.hang the filter and let dry.hope this is helpfull.

This works good cutting down roaring wind,the manu states it reduces sound by 85% ,ide say more like 60% but does what its supp to,abit pricey for what it is.

Product came with the box already open, and appeared as though it was handled roughly. The inside contents were covered in "carbon dust." Upon removing the filter , I noticed it had was damaged. The sticker was also faded, like it had been exposed to light. On top of that, it came a day late. VERY DISAPOINTED, especially since it costs more than similar products in the market.

Who sings money well spent. Lifesaver.

when you receive it you can tell instantly its a quality product unfortunatly for me i didnt read the full description i saw 150 diameter and bought it.it is huge for my grow tent 50x50x100 plonked it in it fit but my plants didnt so i had a rethink i could have contacted seller on receiving it an got a smaller one but ive made it work ive strapped it to the clothes rail above my tent with a bit of ducting connected to a small pocket fan so its pushing air through the filter rather than sucking it through it works perfectly no smells and as an added bonus now when i get a bigger tent i only have to upgrade my fan because its clearly rated for more airflow than my fan is pushing and it only cost me the loss of somewhere to hang my clothes.

Too many problems with this . It arrived damaged sent it back the had to fight tooth and nail to get my money back.
