RugGear® RG702 Rugged Cell Phone Unlocked IP68 Waterproof Smartphone (Yellow)

Purchased in August and in early January it started spontaneously rebooting. It started happening more frequently then would be started up and then turn off and I can't turn back on yes it is fully charged and plugged in. I contacted Amazon and they said to contact RugGear. I did and this was the response. Hi friend,Did you tryed to reset it to factory status already, you can goto setting-> backup & reset to do it.if still can not fix it, I will recommend you contact amazon for a replacement or refund service.Best Regards.I went back to contacting Amazon and included the response from RugGear about getting a replacement and they said it is up to RugGear. Totally getting the runaround. Buyer beware if anything at all goes wrong you are out of luck.Update: After 15 email exchanges and 2 months I have a replacement phone so I will update the ranking since the phone is a good product.

I bout this phone for my dad because of its advertised toughness and waterproof and my dad is a farmer. He listens to the radio whole day while working and he loves the battery life of the phone.. But few days ago the loud speaker on the phone stopped working. It just won't work any more.

Phone wasn't compatible with Cricket, even though it's unlocked. Please check with your carrier before buying. phone looks great and feels highly protected.

I dislike that I cannot use it with AT&T and T-Mobile could not help due to its a 2G so I am stuck with a beautiful phone but cannot use it or send it back due to I bought it as a gift way before Christmas for Christmas and it’s too late to send back.

This never got used, both sim card slots were damaged. I bought it as a gift and didn't know about it before the return date expired. I don't have the Phone here to take picture :(
