TST 507 TPMS (Flow Thru, 10 Sensors)

DO NOT BUY THIS DANGEROUS PRODUCT! The tire sensor caused the valve stem to break off at highway speeds, blew and ruined the tire almost causing loss of control of the truck! Not to mention the extreme hazard of trying to change a blown tire on the side of a busy freeway. NOWHERE does the seller or manufacturer state the you must change out any rubber valve stems and install metal valve stems. Both the seller and the manufacturer DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY when told about the hazard that this product and lack of warning presented.

Purchased 03/19, I liked the product, however the usb plug in the monitor was extremely tight when plugging the cable in it. Recently while plugging it in the monitor usb plug separated and now it is not usable. I have written to Techno RV 3 times and they are referring me to TST tech support. I talked to TST snd they were to send me a return for service paperwork. They are telling me they sent it however nothing is received. The unit is not usable and poor communication between seller and manufacturer is leaving me stuck in the muddle with a defective unit. Unit needs replacement or return for refund.

I sat down with these over a few days & followed the directions one by one. I was able to program each sensor to each tire, & label the sensors. I charged up the monitor and became acquainted w it.There were 2 things I disliked : 1: The monitor scrolls through the status of all 6 tires repeatedly. I would prefer a mo it or that just shows the status of all tires all the time in one glance. 2nd issue: once the monitor is fully charged, they want you to u plug it BUT it goes dead in 4-6 hours? And when it goes dead it seems like it loses its programming.I didn't want to babysit a monitor trying to make sure I plugged it BACK in before it totally died.I DEFINITELY didn't want to go thru process of reprogramming it if it's memory vanishes.The last thing that was the final straw is that one sensor immediately did not work. The others did but this one did not. To be fair, I never contacted them for a replace sensor. I had already decided to send it back.This company seems to be the top of the line for tire safety monitoring so it was disappointing to have to send them back.

Just went on a 4000 mile trip and it was great having a bigger sense of safety knowing temperature and pressure of RV tires. Woke up to 30 F in Tetons and tire temperature was 36 and pressure dropped to 54# which was my alarm so got to hear the alarm and know it works until a few miles and temp and pressure went up. I was able to turn the alarm off by pushing a button. 5 stars for how it works but 4 stars overall as I regularly get one of the RV tires to not pick any thing up after waiting about 10 minutes so I need to turn it off and back on again which usually will start to pick up the tire. I have a 5th and 6th sensor on my boat so I do like the feature that the unit figures out that they are not in range and stops cycling through trying to display their temperature and pressure, unfortunately it takes almost 10 minutes until it finally stops displaying those two. A little longer than I would like but glad it does stop and then only cycles through the 4 RV tires.

We had a 6-sensor system installed in our Class C Winnebago and noticed that one of the sensors was not working. I called TST's support number and spoke with a fellow who said the problem was probably a bad tire valve extender not the TST sensor. I tried the sensor on another tire with a different valve extender and got the same problem. I tried the sensor on a tire that didn't need or have a valve extender and got the same problem. So I called again to see about sending back the one bad sensor to get a new one. The support person said I had to get an "RMA" number to ship it back and that he couldn't give me that number. Had to call back and speak to someone else. Since then I have called about six times to get the RMA number. So far I have never been able to speak with the people who can give me the number and the primary support person won't/can't give me the number. They don't respond to left-messages. Quite frustrating. So we are heading off on our long RV trip with one tire not being monitored.

The product arrived on time and in great packaging. First stumbling block was the fact that our valve stems are not long enough nor do the come through the wheel with enough clearance to allow for attaching the sensors. So before we can proceed we need to get extensions which come in various angles. TST customer service was very helpful in directing us in solving this problem...just another delay and expense. Metal angle extensions are not inexpensive, plus measuring and judging the necessary angle, which may not be the same for all wheels, is an experiment in progress. If we ever get the sensors on our coach we will let you know how the system works. Right now...it isn't connected yet...more work to do.

I bought this for our new 2019 Airstream Flying Cloud 28RBQ that we Tow behind our 2015 Ram 5.7L 2500 pickup. I’ve not installed nor needed the repeater, all the sensors are recognized and read from the cab of the truck. I use the suction cup holder to the left of the rear view mirror.I bought the 6 sensor pack so that I can keep tabs on my spare as well, however, I’ve not installed a seonsor on the spare yet.For the record, I bought this before our Airstream arrived and tested it on a 2015 Jayco X23b hybrid travel trailer and towed it behind the same truck with no problems at all.This is one of those products that once you’ve used, you can’t imagine being without.

Not sure why I waited so long to buy a Tire Monitoring system but I’m sure glad I have it now. I am extremely satisfied with, and happy I purchased the the TST Model 507, it might be a little pricier than some of the others but I truly believe this is the very best unit on the market today. This system works just exactly as advertised and works flawlessly on my 44ft 3 axle toyhauler. Just be sure to use the Repeater supplied with the kit and you’ll be happily monitoring your tire pressure as well as tire temperature as you motor down the highway.
