You need to use the proper amount in order to get good noise reduction. **Q: I am trying to sound proof the walls in a room in a doublewide. Would this stuff be effective or is there a better solution?** A: I'm assuming there is no sound insulation in the wall, so I would use Owens Corning Safe & Sound to fill the cavity, then I would use resilient channel with clips for the sound isolation then the last would be adding Green Glue with 5/8" sheetrock. In addition, you might look at mass loaded vinyl layer on the inside of the wall. It all depends on your budget and how effective you want the sound suppression to be. The problem with most of these solution is the quantity you have to buy, making them prohibitively expensive. **Q: Are these supposed to have screw on tips? i received a box with 6 threaded tubes, but no tips to screw on! how do i get them???** A: My box came with 4 extra screw-on nozzles! I would contact the manufacturer and have them send you the nozzles. They might carry them at your local department store, but it's possible there are different sizes (I don't know what size they would be). **Q: can you put it between two large thick sheets of paper and hang the result on the wall? Is it toxic at all?** A: You can but will have no effect on noise. The use of thick 5/8 drywall with the glue is what stops noise. Don't think it's toxic. ## Frequently Bought Together - Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound - 6 Tubes, net wt 28 fl.oz(828 ml) - Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant Caulk - Pack of 6 Tubes (28 oz Each) - with Cleanup Wipes - Case of Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound - 12 Tubes --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/8252733-green-glue-noiseproofing-compound-6-tubes-net-wt-28-fl](https://www.desertcart.be/products/8252733-green-glue-noiseproofing-compound-6-tubes-net-wt-28-fl) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
