Purchased for my 7 year old son. He loves magic and science. This is a really fun activity to do with him. There is a pamphlet of directions on how the tricks work that includes photos. The activities are straightforward and easy to put together. I would recommend this product if you are looking for something to stow away for a rainy day or as a gift.

My 9 year old son is loving this kit so far! We've only done a couple of the activities but they make for great STEM breaks during homeschooling. I love that (almost) everything you need is included... the only items you need to supply are things that most people have readily available: scissors, empty plastic drink bottle, milk, white plate, metal teaspoon, smartphone or tablet with YouTube access (for the hologram theatre), ruler & pencil

Overall, this is a great set for your budding scientist, but the "magic wheels" didn't work. We tried a couple times and to no success. The hologram pyramid could also have been sturdier. We ended up making our own. Other than these minor nitpicks, my daughters and I had fun with the experiments contained within.

The tricks are simple to learn and fun for the kids to play on each other. The accessories make it easy for the kids to perform these tricks and they actually work well. The instructions are simple enough for the kids to read and understand. Overall a great product.

Aside from the fact that a 6 year old was NOT interested in this product, the items were not built very well. Definitely not well enough for $30. This box is worth at least $10-$15 but not $30. The pyramid for the hologram did not sit evenly, no matter how many times we tried to fold it and correct it it was crooked and kept falling over due to it not being sturdy. The disappearing box was the most fun however the lid did not close properly and was needed to be supported by hand. Everything else was cheap and hardly an experiment, although we did like the 3D glasses. I wish I loved it, I wish the items were more sturdy. I tried to make the best of the situation and to have fun with it and show him the experiments but they were just not that good.

Kids do not even realizing they are learning! I had to do this along side my daughter but we had a great time. She has been really into magic so this was the perfect gift for her birthday, especially since we are not in school right now.

Kept the kids enterained for quite awhile. The tricks are simple and doable for early elementary age kids. Nothing is real high quality, but it's good value for the price paid.

I liked this product very much. I like to use science experiments with my grandkids and with children that I teach. This one had some interesting experiments that I had not seen in other kits.I gave it a four star rating because the items are small and not extremely durable.
