For what I paid, it was worth every damn penny. Might not be exactly the same, but I'm impressed. It's almost impossible to fill a massive front room on a Slab with 18' vaulted ceilings, with Bass. Great Amp. **Q: What is the depth of this amp? Not WxH, but D - how deep is it?** A: I can't recall plus It's installed. But I would estimate that The depth is approx 1 1/2 to 2 inches. There is a resistor that sticks out the most. **Q: What are the plates dimensions? HxWxD?** A: 10.5 in. H X 10 in. W. It is large and takes up all the space on the back side of my Epik Legends dual 12" sub. Realize that the available mounting space for a plate amp is reduced by reinforcing wedges, corner and side blocks inside any enclosure that are there to dampen vibration. They overlap the interior sides of the box and reduce the available mounting space for the plate. **Q: Is this amp 1ohm stable** A: I do not believe so. I would not try it. I had to replace 1 after having my sub wired too low.
