I purchased this so I could put the Presta adapter on my MTB bike and then use the Schrader caps on them like in pictures 2-4 for the item to keep the adapter easily accessible but also keep dirt and debris out of the adapter and valve. The problem is that the male end of the adapters are thinner than a standard Schrader valve so the caps do not fit. The Schrader caps fit Schrader valves so if that is what you want them for, they will work perfectly. The Presta caps also fit Presta valves perfectly. The adapter works with Presta valves and a pump that doesn't accept Presta just fine but the Schrader caps just don't fit. The male end of the adapter needs to be a little thicker so the caps fit correctly as the just slide on and off without trying to thread them on. Overall, I am happy with the product as they all work individual of each other but the one combination of the products that is advertised in the pictures does not work. Personally, I am just going to carry the adapters in my Camelbak with my spate tube, tire levers, patch kit, pump and CO2 cartridges. I was giving my MTB bike to my father-in-law for the weekend to do a bike trip with my oldest son for Boy Scouts since I had to work. He's not a cyclist, so I figured it was easier for him to have the adapters on my bike so he could use the Schrader valve on the pump for both my bike and my sons 24" that has Schrader valves. I also wanted to use the Schrader caps on the adapters to keep out dirt and debris but that didn't happen. I ended up using the Presta caps and sending him with the adapters in with the rest of my tube repair kit and showing him how to use them. It worked out but was disappointing that the product didn't work as it is shown to work in the images.For the quality of the product, I have to say, for under $5, it's a good value. They do seem like the color coating will wear off easily but again, these are inexpensive as it is and especially since you are getting 3 sets of pieces in 3 different colors for the price. We'll see how they hold up over time.Overall, I like the product and will use them. I can recommend them if you know what you are getting and that the combination of the adapter and Schrader caps don't work and you don't need them to. The caps by themselves work just fine and the adapters work just fine.

I just picked up my first road bike where I learned about this different type of valve (presta) that I was not familiar with so off to Youtube to figure out what it was then to Amazon to find an adapter. Which led me to this purchase. I like that it came with both types of screw on tops and also the adapter so you could use your regular tire pump with this presta valve. The thing I didn't like was that the ring came out of the adapter every time you would pull it off the valve and if you lost that rubber ring the adapter was useless. Also when you get to 60 psi you had to really push the connector on the valve at just the right angle or else you wouldn't get all the air in the valve and at that psi going to 90 (which my tire required) was difficult. Other than that, after I figured out how to get the adapters on, how to set up the presta valve and how to hold it to get all the air in I was a happy camper.I would give 3 starts but the fact it was such a good deal and came with so many different adapters and different colors I feel it deserves the 4 stars.

The presta adapter fits great onto the presta valve. Also, the presta valve cap fits. However the shrader valve caps don’t fit on the end if he presta to sharader adapter as the shrader portion of it is to small. It works to pin air into it but no normal sized shrader end caps will fit on it. It would be nice to leave an adapter on the bike and be able to put an valve cap on it. Otherwise this product would be as advertised.

I have presta valves and the adapter works just as it should....however you would think that the caps should fit the adapter once installed on the presta valve. Sadly they do not. They fit on an original schrader valve stem. So if you are looking to leave the adapter on just know that it will not be capped.

These work fine but the rubber o ring works loose, you need to keep an eye on that or they leak

As others stated the protective caps wouldn't screw on the adapters, they have gaps between threads and fall off. Adapters work though, hence 2 stars.Temporary fix - put some piece of plastic or paper around the thread of the adapter before screwing on the cap.Also keep in mind that the 'red' is actually really orange.Subjectively colors are sort of ugly anyway...
