Tropical Lights Torch Fuel Citronella with Cedarwood Oil Insect Repellant Citrascent - 1 Gallon

The only fuel I’ll use for my glass torches. Not too strongly scented but works at repelling bugs. Make sure that you have enough torches around you.

I'm surrounded by wetlands with a swimming pool in the backyard, so I have LOTS of mosquitos. Nothing will drive them all away, but I placed about 12 torches surrounding the pool in a circle. I light them an hour or two before needing them to get it into the air, and it seems to help a lot, not completely like I said, but a noticeable difference.

Doesn't seem to keep many bugs away. Makes wax hard to manage.

Yay!!! It doesn't smell as bad as citronella and works as effectively and burns more evenly than plain old citronella.

We have found this product is far better than the Tiki Oil brand in every way! It burns cleaner, longer & we love the large size that allows us to fill our 4 burners Twice each.Like others who have reviewed this product & other comparable brands it is difficult to determine with any real certainty whether the citronella content is enough to repel Mosquito's effectively however we have been pleased overall & have been comfortable sitting outside using this oil. We have recently purchased their Lemon oil & it is performing equally well.

This torch fuel is the best I have used.

I poured the fuel into oil lamps for summer night activities in the backyard. The oil burns and runs through the singe and works great. Added bonus would be citronella and cedar wood oil. Thought it's only 5% of content is citronella and cedarwood oil. I hope that keeps some bugs away. Most likely it's for us as a placebo because of apparent wind direction and other factors, it wouldn't really work but provides some sense of protection and that's some what helpful to stay outdoor.
