Canaries (Complete Pet Owner's Manuals) Paperback – April 1, 2010

I absolutely love this book! The author covered every question I had about canaries, and he got right to the point. It was an easy read with tons of helpful information. In addition, practically every page had beautiful pictures of so many different canaries, types and colors: yellow, white, red, variegated, etc. I definitely recommend this book for a new canary owner, or canary owners in general!

I play this all the time especially on the weekends when I'm home. I have one male and one female each in their own cages. I know this may sound strange, but the female sings! There have been times that I thought the singing was coming from the male only to find out it was the female. I was told that females don't sing....hummmmmmmm

Bought this for my old Mum to go with her new canary. She's never had a bird before and needed a good summary to caring for it. This one was perfect -- easy enough to read yet enough detail and encouragement to ensure the new pet thrives in her house.

Great book. I've had canaries all my life except for the past year when I had a springer spaniel who thought he was a hunter. This was a great refresher and very informative.

Short little book, containing only basic information. Designed for beginners who know nothing about bird care.

This book was very helpful since I was a new bird owner. I have referred back to it may times, when needing a answer to a question I have about my canaries. Lots of useful information.

Good book for canary owners. Entertaining with lots of pictures (magazine like). Many great hints, but not a bit book.

Nice for gift, doesn’t mention Norwich canaries probably my mistake, looked like it did in photo of index. Given as gift for canary lover who was pleased. Hey Lisa

A great little book for a Canarie owner to have as a reference on multiple topics. I found the section on babies very helpful as our girlie laid 4 eggs within a week of us getting her and we know have 4 full sized youngsters hopping around in the cage.

Book was for my girlfriend, who keeps and breeds Canaries,she was delighted and uses the book as a reference.

A good book for the beginner , I was looking for something more specialist , this book is also American , references are made to some canary types that are not common in the uk.
