Both article numbers refer to the leadholder 780. BK just means that the product is packed in a blistercard (Blisterkarte). C stands for clip. Formerly this leadholder was offered with or without a clip. Nowadays only the version with a clip is available. **Q: do i need to buy different parts for this pencil to work or am i set if i just buy this?** A: Old question, but no one answer has been complete. This lead holder comes with a 2H lead, which is a bit harder than your standard HB pencil (aka #2 pencil in the United States) and thus makes a lighter grey mark. The cap at the end does include a built in lead pointer, which you can use to sharpen the lead into a point. A rotary pointer, though, is a bit nicer and easier to use. So no, you do not need to buy anything else.You may, if you wish, want to buy some different leads (like a 2B to get a bit darker and softer of a lead), an easier to use lead pointer, and/or an eraser. **Q: I like to use fine lines when I draw details, but I also shade large areas as well, which lead set should I get?** A: You can do fine lines and larger shaded areas with just a 2B lead **Q: What material is the blue portion of the lead holder made of?** A: The blue portion is mostly a sturdy plastic, the tip of the holder I believe is steel.
