Varmint guard attaches to bottom of feeder by four predrilled holes at the top of the guard. Varmint guard is a powder coated metal and one side is hinged for easy access to your timer.

I like it ! It works for me.
I have installed it on a Herter's® EZ-Load Feeder 200 lbs. Make sure that you have a fried with you while install it. It's almost impossible to install it by yourself.

Varmint cage
This cage is useless against raccoons. They just reach arm through and spin the spinner for hours according to trail cam, had to build an outer cage around feeder frame.

Works great for me
Raccoons would constantly damage my timer and solar panel. So far, they have not been able to penetrate the varmint guard. Works great for me.

Fits and does what it says.
Does the job. It IS a little challenging to install, but the door clasp DOES fit from the top. My only concern is how this unit will weather.

Feeder metal varmint guard
Even though I haven't attached it to the feeder yet, it is well made. I am hoping when I do attach it that it fits. I will update my feed back then.

The cage is so small, animals can easily reach into it to steal grain. You mist block off that end somehow. Rip off!
