This bridge pad was introduced to accommodate a horse with a hollow behind the shoulder. It's available in two widths: 3/4" or 1". The 3/4" is for a horse with a moderate bridge; the 1" is for a horse with a more severe bridge. Bridge pads are not full pads-they are small supplemental pads designed to fit under your regular saddle pad right against the horse. Made of the highest quality memory foam, they fill in the gap nicely between the horse and saddle tree. By filling in this gap you increase contact dispersing the rider's weight more evenly, resulting in a more comfortable saddle fit for the horse. Seen here in black Lycra for easy care.
