Perfect, just what I was looking for
*Made of quality plastic*Easy to install / adjust / take phone in/out with one hand / or hold phone *really secure and use 2 hands to remove. This is my first phone holder that I have ever bought/owned. So I donโt have a previous one to compare.-The clip/clamp that holds the vent blade is strong, my suggestion is to make sure itโs Pushed all the way back or else it may fall out.-The joint that attaches to the vent clip/clamp is a ball so it swivels nice and has a good range of motion for adjusting. .it has a big nut so itโs easy to adjust and hand tighten.-The actual part that holds your phone has a single prong at each side while the one at the bottom has 2 prongs to allow your chord to be obstruction free. These prongs/holders have a soft /spongy material to not damage your phone.-When you place the phone inside the holder, the weight of the phone pushes down on the bottom which causes the sides to contract to hold your phone .**The depth of the holder is shallow which makes it tight fiting on the sides. ***so pay attention to that measurement.** It works fine for mine but it is not loose inside Even though I have a outterbox slim case for my iPhone 7 , I did think my phone was thick at all.*I like that I can use one hand to take my phone in and out. The only way this is possible is to make the width just a little bigger than what it needs to be to hold the phone. That way when I drop the phone into the holder the sides only go in a enough to lightly hold it, yet still loose enough to remove Easily. If you want it more secure for all you do is squeeze it tighter after placing it into the holder. However If you do this you will need two hands to remove your phone. I like this because I have a choice for easy removal or a snug fit.qI like that itโs not a dedicated holder to just one phone type.I think its great for the money .im sure there is better out there . This one is perfect for my needs.i would buy it again and recommend to others

I really want to like this phone holder.
I really want to like this phone holder. I think if I get a new case for my iPhone X it will fit better. It is just a tad too tight. Also, my case has a closure on the battery port so I can't charge it while in the holder. Another tip, it can weight down the air vent and sag all the way down. To fix this have the push button on the vent attachment piece rotated to the top of the holder AND use the lowest air vent slat to attach it to (instead of the highest). It stayed put doing this and was still at a good height to see. Time will tell if the pieces hold up. Arrived quickly.

Almost There
I have a Google Pixel 3 and it held it just fine for a while. However, if you look at the back, there is a sponge like clip that goes on your air vent. This will compact over time and the darn thing falls. Nothing like going 80mph down the high way and you take the exit ramp and just by turning slightly your entire thing comes flying off your dash. (ha! funny not funny though). I have rotated the back piece so that it wears evenly and I guess that is something you just have to do in order for it to keep stuck.Other than the compression issue, it fits all phones and it was great.

Looked & felt okay, just doesn't seem to fit most phones in cases.
Seemed to be constructed well enough. However, contrary to claims in description this will not fit any phone in a case I was able to try (S3, S5, S9, note5, iPhone XR). I got this for my wife's Samsung Note. The phone has an otterbox which is just a little too thick to fit this holder. Turned every which way but no joy. And the arms are not adjustable. Bummer. If you only have a skin or a really thin case it may work for you. But it did not fit my S9 in an otterbox. But the return process was easy and quick enough. Good luck!

If your vent spins you wont like this product. Does not work right on vents that spin.
I have a Jeep Commander and the vents rotate unlike other regular vents. This made the device kind of flop around. So I gave it to my wife who has the regular slat type of air vent.EDIT: The company reached out because of what they felt was a negative review. The unit is fine, just doesn't work on vents that rotate in a circle. Simple as that! My wife is happy with it in HER car. It doesn't work in MY car which has vents that rotate.

Works mostly.
The product works as advertised however the clips that close in to hold the phone are somewhat narrow which doesn't allow using a phone with an armored case or a finger catch on the back of the phone. It also doesn't operate smoothly. Sometimes I would have to very firmly grab the phone to lift it out of the holder because it can be balky when it comes to releasing the phone, which caused the vent clip to move and further aggravate the phones release. Wouldn't buy again.

It's operation is not as smooth as one would think
I liked that it stayed putt where it was set clipped to the vent blade. What I didn't like was that it wasn't wide enough to easily fit some of the phone cases I had on my OnePlus 6. I also didn't like the way the mechanism operates... It didn't close smoothly or as evenly as the way it was designed to.

Works for some devices but NOT phones with cases!
While the holder does fit the phone, not with a CoverOn case. The case which is similar to Otter Box in size. The one handed feature is not true to form with a case on. As seen in pictures, the case is being held in place but not the 100% that makes me feel ok safe. It does take 2 hands to insert or remove, but holds steady. The clip on the vent side does not hold secure as there is nothing more then plastic to hold it in the vent. Other models have a "tooth" to hold to the vent firmly. I'm 60% happy, or should I say my dad is 100% as this is his gift from me, "It will work for me", still going to look and try for better. Samsung Grand Prime w/CoverOn case.
