Kipawa 80/01 High Performance Weedless Propeller for 80-101 Thrust 2005 and Newer Minn Kota Motors

Have used these props since they hit the market and believe that they are the best bass fishing trolling motor prop money can buy! More speed, more control, super weed less, and longer lasting battery when comparing distance covered.

I have a Minnkota Ulterra 80 Lb thrust trolling motor. Put this prop on today. What a difference! With the weedless wedge (Standard prop from the manufacturer) I was trolling at a max speed of around 1.5 MPH with the power on 9 or 10. With this prop I was able to troll at 3 MPH with the power on 8. So far I am very impressed. I don't know how it will do concerning weeds I will update this review when I have tried it in the shallows.

I got a new terrova and was not impressed with the speed of the weed less wedge 2 prop, especially towards the end of the day fishing, couldn't hardly move the boat even though the battery gauge still read mostly charged. I swapped the prop for the kipawa and am much happier with the performance, used it for a solid 6.5 hours in winds up to 25mph and never had any issues with speed or power.

Very smooth original prop vibrated some. Appears to have better power in low range and stronger pull on high range. I think better battery drain also but havnt had to use in any high wind conditions yet

I live near and fish Eufaula all the time. You can park in a hydrilla patch put your minn kota on 2 and the motor with this prop will push you out of weeds just as well as open water. With the minn kota prop my 18ft aluminum boat with 24v system would run about 2.8-3.0mph with the kipawa 3.5-3.7mph.

Pulls really hard. Works good through weeds.

Does everything they said, surpassed my expectations

Is not good in grass and if you have a circuit breaker it will most likely trip it if it is working to hard the weedless wedge is better
