Loving this bag! But the handles do appear to be a creamy green color when I'm inside the house which is a little strange looking but when you take the bag outside in natural light they are definitely a kinda dirty cream color. Alittle disappointing but I don't even care, the color of the bag itself is spot on with the pic (I ordered the khaki one) and so I'm very happy with that and the bag is beautiful. It is a large bag but I knew that because I checked the measurements and that's what I wanted. So for those of you who do not want a big bag then I don't recemend this is the bag for you. As for the ones that do, this is a keeper. The other thing is which I found as a awesome surprise is that the inside zipper pocket that is shown in the purse is detachable, which for me is great because I was worried that my purse organizer would have trouble fitting because of it but I now see there will be no problems what so ever. This little detachable inside pocket also has a small leather strap so I could leave it in there and still have room for my organizer and then some. also beside the magnetic clasp that keeps it shut which is pretty strong but not overpowering there are two snaps on on either side of the purse so you can expand it to look like a tote or snap them back to have a more purse type shape when you have more or less to carry. Overall I feel for 30 bucks you can't beat this purse. It seems pretty well made, like it will hold up for awhile. My only gripes are... the weird creamy handles and I wish the bottom was more sturdy/stiff although there is a a kinda flimsy what feels like thin card board or plastic sewn into the bottom under the lining but other than that I really have no gripes and this purse/bag was all around a great deal for me it was packed nicely, had no weird smell and was shipped super fast ( like in 3 days). The bag is nice looking and the design is interesting with the lacy cut-out detail and woven handles, but the materials used for both could be better. The faux leather of the bag is a bit on the thin side, and they should have used a material that is stain resistant like polyester and synthetic for the handles, instead of this cotton that looks like it will fray and stain sooner than it should. Its good idea they made the handles detachable though, so it can be washed separately.Also, I got the black and the handles is darker than the picture shows - it looks like a dirty beige or the black darkened it or something - but its better that it isn't too white cause it will look dirty quicker in certain spot. The black is sold for 10 dollars less though, so maybe it has to do with the quality. Anyway, I haven't used the bag yet, but its roomy and the extra small bag inside is useful. The handles is a bit snug to the armpit though.(EDITED on 7/21/16) I edited to add that I've had this black bag for 3 years now and I still use it. it actually became my favorite bag and I carry it often. And its been durable and no stitches came loose any where. I also got it in beige and another black in December 2015, and I like the beige too. No problem with the handles of the first black bag and the beige - but the woven rope of the handle of the second black bag was a bit loose, and I just pulled to tighten it a bit. Some people have written of having issues with the handles, but Its really a great bag if you don't get the one with defective handles..

I was hopeful this bag would be nice, even though it had a low price point. I was very disappointed when I got the bag today. First of all, the color on my computer was a pretty sunshiney shade of yellow. The bag I received was a dull and ugly mustard orange and brown shade. It is way too ugly for me. It is also a lot smaller looking in person than it seemed. The bag looks and feels cheap to me. I immediately boxed it back up to send back. As a vegan, I was excited for a cute, animal friendly bag. This unfortunately was not it. Other people really seem to love this bag, so maybe I got a dud or maybe they changed the manufacturing process or materials. The rope handles are rough and ugly. The bag is just poorly made overall.

Beautiful color, spacious, but... The laser cut-out part on the bottom falls apart and catches on everything you walk by or rest up against. I tried to super-glue the pieces together and it held for a while.The rope handle gets dirty quickly and wears out fast. I've been using this as my primary bag since January (almost 8 months) and it is coming unglued from the leather cuff that attaches to the rings that go to the bag.Shame, really, because the color is fantastic and I love the size. It hangs loosely and is really soft leather. It matches my RFID wallet perfectly.3 stars because it was a fast shipping and the metal pieces really held up and still are. The main bag is still in good shape.

Wish I would have listened to the others who said the handles frayed after very little use. I thought that wouldn't apply to me as I really don't carry a bag that often. I work from home and only leave the house a few times a week. Sure enough though, after a couple of weeks the handles started fraying at the base and there really is nothing you can do to fix it. Really unfortunate too as I hate gold hardware on purses and this is one of the few that was silver. I REALLY wanted to love this purse but unfortunately I had to send it back.

Finally my bag arrived. Due to the Christmas rushes my package got mixed up with the couriers but it's here now .My bag is very big, roomy Am seeing all the lovely things I can carry in it . This bag will be my every day use. I just hope that my bag is ready for all the hard work in store for it . Lol!I will update my review as time goes by.This is my second purchase with Scarleton.And you have not disappoint me, Thank you again.Okay today is 7th February,a month and two weeks unfortunately for me the straps broke the handles came right out of the weft. Four stars now because....Now I will need to get another bag. Sigh!

I fell in love with the colour. There IS a warning that colours may not be exactly as depicted. Before ordering, I asked the question about the inside bag but after a couple of days with no response went ahead and ordered the purse anyway.VERY disappointed.Colour isn't even remotely like depicted. If the purse had come in a lighter or darker tone of the same colour it wouldn't have been bad. What came was a muddy slate gray/blue colour that is nearly navy. Not a pretty colour at all.The inside bag is like a little change purse. The way it is shown in the picture makes it look like it would divide the body of the purse into two sections. It does not. It is clipped in and can be removed. It is much smaller than shown.The review pictures show the bag on a woman mannequin which makes the bag look huge. I would say the bag is not huge. The straps are so short I won't be able to wear the bag on my shoulder if I am wearing a jacket or winter coat.I'm guessing it's going back.So very disappointed.

This purse is the perfect size. Love it.
