Terrific
I read up a lot on how to plant the seeds. Several articles said that the seeds should be soaked and then the shell peeled so that it would sprout earlier. After soaking 8 seeds for 24 hours I peeled 4 and planted them in one labeled planter and then planted 4 with the shell in a separate labeled pot. I live in San Diego where the weather is almost perfect so I wasn't to surprised when after 4 days the first sprout popped up. What did surprised me was that it was the seeds with the shells. In fact, the peeled seeds still hadn't come up after 3 weeks. Three of the four seeds sprouted, but I lost one to a snail or grasshopper. I separated them and have been covering them and they are growing beautifully. I started a second pot and again within 4 days the first one has emerged. I plan on planting several around the yard and giving some to friends who have expressed an interest. You tube was a great place to learn about the Moringa Oleifera, check it out.

Beautiful little plants straight from seed
I waited to leave a product review to see if the seeds germinated, etc. My results so far have been great! Planted 6 seeds straight into potting soil, lightly watered every day or two and gave them plenty of sun . . . as told, they are slow to start, so I was patient and thus far after a few weeks, 5 of the six have sprouted and also, as told, they are growing like weeds! It's like they come out of the ground at a sprint to see how fast they can get a big batch of leaves out and open. Can't wait for them to get a little bigger!

Eaten by renegade ants
I think almost all of these seeds (maybe two dozen planted so far) sprouted just fine. These were just to test and play around with, and then I will plant the remainder to make a usable fence where people like to drive across my lawn :) My wife is Filipina and wanted these trees to make some of her dishes, and the more I read the more I was intrigued. I will update with further results. Very pleased.Planting method: 11-12 oz coffee can, with paper sides and plastic lid. Removed the bottom with the can-opener and put the plastic lid on the open bottom with a half dozen drain holes drilled into it. Filled with fertilized potting soil and planted one seed in each, about 3/4 inch down. stalks in ten days or so and leaves a few days later. When I'm ready to put these out to form the beginnings of my edible fence, I'll just dig a hole with the post hole digger and remove the plastic cover at the bottom, drop the whole can into the hole with about an inch of the rim showing and backfill the hole. Once the tree is almost too big to remove the can, I'll slide the can off the top... maybe... or just leave it in the ground.UPDATE: Our entire crop was eaten by leaf-cutter ants. Nothing but stems remain. I don't know the remedy because we've had problems with these ants before and they are impossible, so far, to control. I've abandoned my plan to have a grove of these or a living fence because the ants and white tail deer will chomp them up. Any recommendations would be appreciated.UPDATE 7/17: They live again! The ants were satisfied for the time being and new leaves popped out, looking good for now. I don't have faith that the ants will not return, but maybe I can transplant to a better location.

Great success
I ordered a package of the Moringa Seeds. I soaked 7 seeds in 70 degree water for 48 hours and then planted them in southwest plant potting soil and then placed the potted seeds on top of a variable controlled electric food cooking/heating hot plate and kept the soil at approximately 82 degrees and keep the soil in a moist environment. I received the seeds December 7th and December 10th after soaking the seven seeds for 2 days put them in the soil and today December 17th I have 5 out of the 7 seeds germinating and just finished transplanting them into a small plastic 6 pack container. Two out of the 5 are already producing roots and the others 3 have shoots. So far I have been very pleased with the results.

Don't plan on a big crop of trees
The seeds are pretty big, about twice the size of a dried pea. I counted them and found only 58 seeds with 7 of them missing the outer husk so I'm guessing they are not viable.Unhappy I contacted Amazon and the purchase price was refunded. But still with the seeds I am giving them a try. I soaked 10 of the seeds for a day and tried sprouting them like I do other seeds. A week later only 2 of them started to sprout but I put them all in dirt. Now it has been very cold in the Chicago area but none of the seeds have broken the surface more than a week later.I am going to try 10 more seeds and give it another go, but these are a warm weather plant so I am sure that have a bit to do with it.I will update if I get better results.

No sign of growth from these moringa seeds, after several efforts
I received the seeds in a timely fashion. I planted some in potting soil; others, I tried to germinate first using moistened paper towels and placing the seeds between the layers in a plastic bag. NOT ONE SINGLE SEED GERMINATED. I watched demos on Youtube, and tried again. STILL NOT ONE SINGLE SEED GERMINATED. I can only conclude that the entire packet of seeds I received was rendered non-viable in some way. I am extremely disappointed, and only grateful that a larger amount of money was not lost on this effort.

I myself have had great success in growing them
I purchased these Moringa seeds in hopes that I could grow my own Moringa tree. I'd rather just grow my own than continue to purchase the supplement at my local GMC store. While some people have stated that these seeds havent worked for them, I myself have had great success in growing them. I had at least a 90% germination rate, so I can't complain. For best results it helps to remove the actual seed from the papery shell that it is in. After that I found that just using the ziploc bag/wet paper towel trick worked like a charm. This particular plant will most likely not germinate if you are in a colder zone (1-6) being that this plant originates in a more hot/arid climate. Anyway hope this review helped, happy growing.
