He began by purchasing tea estates in Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, and arranged packaging and shipping at low costs to sell his teas directly from the tea garden to the tea pot. In 1893, he established the Thomas J Lipton Co., a tea packing company with its headquarters and factory in Hoboken, New Jersey. Lipton entered the dehydrated soup market in 1939 and the Lipton soups brand was founded. He began years of conscientious testing, reformulating and evaluating to get the consistent quality you will find in Lipton soup brands today. In 1954, the famous California Dip recipe (now known as the “Lipton Onion Dip” combines the Onion Soup Mix with sour cream and became a huge success based on its convenience and flavor. It became evident that some varieties were more suited for recipe usage than others and over the years, other flavors and soup products were added to the Lipton soup portfolio. The dates of the introductions of the existing product lines are as follows: 1970: Lipton Cup-A-Soup ,1980: Lipton Soup Secrets, 1992: Lipton Recipe Secrets. The Lipton brand now offers a wide range of teas and soups. Lipton Cup-A-Soup: Grab Lipton Cup-A-Soup for a smart afternoon pick-me-up when you crave something warm, soothing and satisfying. On a diet? Love Ramen? Give Cup-A-Soup a shot
If you're dieting and love ramen, this is a great substitute. I admit I am a ramen junky. When I went on my diet for my new year's resolution, the thing I craved most was ramen noodles. There is nothing healthy about eating a pack of ramen. It's loaded in carbs and dense calories, that really are of no benefit to a diet.So I actually came across these in a grocery store at first, but they were expensive. They cost more than ramen, but I gave a 3 pack a try. I found these to be an awesome sub for Ramen without all the calories. I know these have contributed to my weight loss. I'd much rather eat 50 calories vs 420 calories in my normal ramen pack. The reason I gave these a 5 star, though, is at this price point you get 48 packs, which was way better than the grocery store. 48 will last me a very long time, so it was worth it to me.

I enjoy this soup!
For some reason all of the grocery stores, including Walmart, in my area have suddenly stopped stocking the Cream of Chicken Lipton Cup-a-Soup. I really enjoy this soup. So I ordered it online and and will continue to do so. I love it for a pick-me-up during the day or a fast lunch on hectic days. The price is good, the delivery fast. I recommend this product.

Great price- great snack! Love Cup-a-Soup!
I used to buy Cup-a-Soup years ago and the flavor wasn't that great. I tried it again and now it tastes so good. The box says it is made in Canada and that is fine with me. My favorite flavor is the Chicken Noodle with White Meat. It is the perfect 50 calorie snack at 3:00 pm when you are hungry. I have a hot water kettle at work and make my soup with really hot water in a big mug. One thing you should know, you get 12 boxes of soup with your order. Each box has 4 packets of soup. It isn't that clear from the description, but 12 boxes at this price is a good deal. I want to have lots of soup on hand and it can be difficult to find Cup-a-Soup in some of the area grocery stores where I shop so I prefer to get my Cup-a-Soup by mail.

Fantastic soup, tastes just as it did 40 years ago.
This Lipton Chicken Noodle Cup-a-Soup tastes great, exactly the same as it did 40 years ago when my family first purchased it. My mother loves it again as well. It is obviously very convenient to make, you just add 6 ounces of boiling water and stir. There's not much more to say, if you were a fan of this in the 1970s, well, this is the same stuff and in a package that looks similar but not identical to that of years ago. It is also an excellent value here at Amazon, depending on the (wildly fluctuating) price you may find.I can enjoy this every day without getting tired of it.

Great for Dieters!
I wanted some soup that would help fill me up, that didn't have a lot of calories and worked with Weight Watchers. This soup only has 1 point so I use it mostly in between meals when I want something hot, and sometimes with a peanut butter sandwich if I need something more filling. It's tasty but I wish it had a little more noodles and chicken in it. I suppose if it did it would be more points though. Good value for those who likes soup and want to lose weight. It also doesn't taste as salty as regular chicken noodle soup so if you are cutting sodium it may be helpful.

Just Like Grandma Made!
When I was a kid my grandma used to mix up this cup-a-soup with a little less water than the directions call for (she used 2/3 cup) to make a thick, almost gravy-like consistency. She'd serve it with rice and we could spoon the 'gravy' over the rice. I love it as a kid and it's still my go to food when I'm not feeling well or just craving something comforting. This was also my go to food when I was pregnant. When I lost my appetite (for a long while) this, prepared as described above, was one of the few foods I could tolerate. Thanks for not changing the recipe since my grandma made this! It's delicious as always.

Phone case is NOT a magnet.
This phone case would be perfect if the phone was removable. I thought it was, but it is not. It is the perfect size for all my cards and drivers license. Fits in my larger bag perfectly. However, if I am charging the phone (like on my desk at work) then all my cards, etc. are out on my desk too. I suppose I could just remove the phone but then the phone is not protected. I'm disappointed. I would have given this 5 stars if the phone case was a magnet.

Cup-a-Soup Cream of Chicken packets
These Cup-a-Soup packets are so handy for a quick tiny snack. And the Cream of Chicken is amazingly delicious. I've bought this product for years, but suddenly it isn't on the grocery story shelves these days. So thrilled I could find another source for it! Bought a bunch so I don't have to go through withdrawal again. :>)
