Good looking, well built, inexpensive - a great wallet!
I have carried the same older-than-dirt (picked up from a rummage sale years ago) tri-fold leather wallet for years, and finally it had worn down enough that it desperately needed replacing. I spent a few weeks looking all over the web at different brands and reviews of them before deciding to give Mutbak a go, and I can honestly say I'm glad I made the choice I did, for several reasons. Now, I'll admit - I used to keep a LOT of cards in my wallet (around 18-20 different credit/loyalty/ID/membership cards, some business cards - mine and others' - a few oddities like a multi-tool card and some prayer cards from funerals), plus receipts, some small cash, and, for whatever reason, stamps (I have no idea why I never just took those out), so when originally looking, I first purchased a different wallet from Mutbak - the Citadel: RFID Blocking Bifold Wallet Passcase with Full Grain Leather and Flip Up ID By Mutbak (Durango) .Now, one of the things I hoped to do was slim my pocket down a bit. I carry my wallet front-pocket (even when it was big - didn't bother me comfort-wise) so I wanted to reduce the "bulge" look on the side of my pants. I originally thought, "hey, if it folds a bit less, it'll be less bulky, more so if I don't put EVERYTHING from the old wallet into the new one, right?" Wrong. The Citadel is a nice wallet, but even empty was bigger than my old one was FULL. That said, the material was nice, construction felt sturdy, and the price was right, so I decided I'd give Mutbak another go, just with a smaller wallet - the SCIF (which is what Mutbak calls this one on their website).I'm 100% glad I did so, because this wallet is exactly what I was looking for:1. It looks great - as in, I enjoy pulling it out of my pocket great. The leather is attractive but not pretentious, and, while I originally wasn't sure what I thought of the clear side-pocket, I slid my Eagle Scout card (older one - a sort of dull gold colour) over my ID and I actually rather like the way it looks. The thumb push means I can still easily show my ID or get it out with one hand if needed.2. It feels great - no, it's not as slim as the wallets they make which only hold cards or a few folded-up bills, but it's much thinner than many other wallets I've seen. The leather has a soft-but-strong feel to it and a smooth texture. The money clip (before this wallet I'd never used a clip-style one, and I'm now totally sold on it) is sturdy and has a satisfying "click" when opening or closing it.3. It is easy to use - from the hidden pull out pocket for business cards to the thumb-pushes for IDs and the outer "most used" credit card slot, all of it works together to keep everything organized, tucked away, but still super easy to access for getting in and out quick.4. It's cheap - this wallet is $25 bucks. A lower-quality leather wallet at most department stores is more than that, and a quick search on Amazon will confirm that many online can easily double or triple that price. This, on the other hand, is a fantastic wallet that leaves you with leftover money to actually put in it after buying it.Now, I will give two caveats, but both are small:a) I've noticed that in some wallets and ID holders, the clear-plastic over the ID can "scuff" and make it hard to read the card (or just look ugly). I've only had this wallet for about a month, so I can't speak to whether that will happen to it - so far, however, there's no signs of it.b) When you first start using it, the outer "quick-access" card slot (designed for your most used card and, I believe, best suited to a single card) can be hard to...well, access quickly. But after about a week or so of use, the leather loosens up a bit and the card slides right in and out, no problem (and, don't worry, it isn't so loose the card falls out - it is still snug). It may also be worth nothing that, being a money-slip style, there isn't really a spot for coins in it - but I don't carry coins in my wallet anyway, so to me, that was a non-issue.All that said, I'm thoroughly impressed by this wallet at this price, and very happy with it. I'd also add that Mutbak shows a lot of care for their products: I've been contacted by the head of the company to ensure I was happy with my wallet after my purchase; the wallet itself came not only in a nice box suitable for gifting, but in a cloth bag within that box to protect it (and plastic wrap in that - no chances taken); and the wallet came with a 15% off discount code to give to a friend if recommending their wallets. All nice touches, though, in full honestly, after a month with this wallet, it would have earned five stars on it's own.Short form: if you're looking for a slim wallet that still has plenty of space for cash without needing to do origami, and want something that looks good enough to pull out at, say, a business lunch, is built well, and won't cost you so much you've got no money left to need a wallet for in the first place, I'd whole-heartedly recommend giving Mutbak a go!

but when customer support is as good as MUTBAK's I'll make it a point to
Loving my new wallet and the customer support. In fact, I don't typically leave reviews, but when customer support is as good as MUTBAK's I'll make it a point to.Before I got the wallet I got an email saying they hoped I liked it when I got it, and if I didn't they wanted to know why. Having worked in sales that proactive approach to customer service goes a long way with me, and when the product is great too? I'll be a repeat customer. On to the wallet: the two-tone leather looks great, the craftsmanship is excellent, and when the clip closes it feels like it's going to stay that way. I've had the wallet now for about a week and a half, and have no complaints. There doesn't seem to be any glue holding things together, only the stitching. That's not to say there isn't glue there somewhere, but I haven't noticed it (about a week before I ordered a competitor's product and almost couldn't get my cards out because of glue in the seams).Despite layers of quality leather with great stitching and a full complement of cards, it's still slim enough to fit in the front pocket of my jeans and work slacks without being too cumbersome or obtrusive. The outward-facing ID window is a nice feature, and the window itself has the typical oval cutout to easily slide the ID out when needed. I keep my health insurance card behind the ID, and both fit comfortably; I was worried about putting two cards in the slot for fear of stretching it out, but even after carrying two there it still feels super secure when I take one out.I've already been telling my friends about it and have received compliments from strangers on how good the two-tone looks.Like I said previously I'll be a repeat customer, and have already been browsing their other offerings for various occasions when I might need something different.

High quality leather, excellent customer service, and intelligent design!
This wallet proves that great things come in small packages. I did a lot of research before buying a wallet, and I admittedly had doubts on how well the money clip would work, but after purchasing and wearing this wallet for the past few weeks, I can report that it works incredibly well! This wallet is high quality (I could tell from the onset as it had a rich leather smell, and not a cheap smell that you get with other wallets). I am amazed at the carrying capacity of this wallet, as I have (including my licence, insurance card and other forms of ID for work) 9 plastic cards in this wallet, and the easy pull makes getting to them a breeze! I also am very thankful that the primary ID slot has an easy access center hole to allow me to retrieve it and put it back quickly. I am sad that I sat on a bulky, outdated wallet for so long! I highly recommend this product.

As advertised; excellent value and quality for the price.
I've only been using this wallet for 2 weeks, so i can't speak to its durability. Everything about this wallet is perfect for me. There are enough storage slots to hold my 12 different credit/ID/security cards...in a way that does not make it difficult to access the cards (it was difficult to get cards out of my last wallet because i had up to 4 cards in a slot). The leather is soft, but not too much so, it smells nice, and seems to be of good quality. i really like the thumb-holes in the ID Card window as well as on the credit card slot on the other outside surface. They allow you to easily pull the cards out of the slots. I also really like the pull-tab device that easily drags out the cards from the fully enclosed pocket behind the ID Card window. The money clip/spring mechanism is not super strong, but even just 3 bills remain secured in it. They're folded in half inside a folded wallet, so in reality, there's no real risk of them falling out when it's all closed up.
