San Benedetto Iced Tea, Peach, 12 Count

First discovered this tea on a trip in Italy. It became one of my favorite drinks. Once we got back to the USA I was pleased to find it available on Amazon. Have ordered it several times since. It has great peach and tea flavor. Very refreshing.

Absolutely delicious peach tea. It’s pricey considering how affordable it is in Europe.

I first had this tea in Italy when we stopped for a quick lunch on our first day there and I randomly selected it. I am so glad I did. I liked it so much that I went on a search for it when we returned home and was thrilled to find it available through Amazon. I drink ice tea every day that I make at home, but if I need something bottled there is nothing better than this! It is a bit pricey, so it's not something you guzzle to rehydrate after a hot day of yardwork; but as a special treat now and then there is nothing better. It's like treating yourself to the "fine wine" on occasion.

During my trips to Italy, it became a habit of mine to enjoy this tea every afternoon due to its wonderful balance of flavors - tea, peach and sweetness. Its quality reminds me of the difference between ice cream and gelato. In other words, the difference between something good and something great. When I ordered this tea, I was not sure if the plastic bottles and shipment from Italy would cause the taste to change, but it was exactly as I remembered it. From now on, I expect I will be enjoying this tea for summers to come, whether in Italy or at home. To be sure, this tea is not cheap, especially when you include the shipping. However, it is much better than other peach teas you can get locally and if you compare its price per liter to wine, the price is quite reasonable. I should also note that the delivery service was great. I ordered the tea on a Saturday morning, it was shipped a couple hours later by MondoFood and arrived on my doorstep on Monday afternoon. I do not know if this is typical for the standard shipping, but I was impressed.

If you lived in Europe and drank these... it's cheaper than a plane ticket.

My favorite bottled peach ice tea. If only they could bottle it in US so I didn't have to pay so much for transportation. I would buy it regularly instead of a couple times per year if cost were in line with local products.
