Here we go again.
Nearly every book on Amazon written from a creationist point of view seems to receive the same tired treatment. Single star reviews from folks who are non-verified purchasers, and who all seem to be repeating the same old lines: "This book is non-scientific," "This book is full of scientific errors," "Creationists should keep their unscientific myths to themselves," etc., etc. All apparently designed to dissuade people from purchasing the book. It's interesting to me that very few of these reviewers actually provide evidence for all the scientific errors they have supposedly found in the book. In fact, it seems likely that they didn't actually purchase the book, and, if they did purchase it (from somewhere other than Amazon), from reading most of the comments, it seems that these reviewers didn't actually read the book. Which makes me wonder if they simply have a non-creationist agenda. Therefore, I would say, it may be wise to ignore the single star reviews (and maybe the two star reviews as well).I've actually read this book a couple of times over the years and have found it to be very reasonable and easy to understand. And since it is written for the educated laymen, one does not need to be an expert in science to see some of the major flaws in the organic evolution model, which seems to have been the authors motivation for writing the book in the first place. I'd say, buy the book, give it a read, and see what you think.

Excellent for schools !
This 3rd edition of the book is an absolute must for any high school or college student involved in the natural sciences. Huse systematically disarms all the principal arguments--as well as the players--for biological macroevolution. Putting forth an impressive array of evidence in physics, biology, astronomy, geology, biochemistry, anthropology, and archaeology, Huse repeatedly shows the impossibility of macroevolution (physical life from non-life, order from disorder). But he does more than show evolution as an impossibility, he demonstrates that it is really not even a science at all, but a philosophy ! All true sciences must be observable and repeatable. Evolution has neither of these two essentials.Perhaps best of all, Huse argues in terms anyone interested in science (but not having a Ph.D) can understand. This knowledge can be a powerful tool in the hands of any high school or college student who has ever been frustrated and intimidated by the previously imposing ivory tower of academia.

Another load of tosh!
Although I have a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from conventional schools, I do not consider myself a stereotypical hard-boiled scientist. I do not immediately discount unconventional theories, I am open to spiritual ideas, and I am not an atheist. I did purchase and begin to read this book with a completely open mind; I was genuinely curious about what this "Intelligent Design" stuff was all about.I was utterly disappointed to find that this book is a bunch of ignorant tripe, full of poorly-supported opinions argued with possibly the WORST logic skills I have been astonished to encounter. If you are interested in how life has come into being and how it came to be the way it is today, by all means, I suggest conventional science as the first step. If you are interested in religion, philosophy, and the spiritual side of nature, I suggest conventional religion as the first step. I must conclude that "Intelligent Design" is a trashy attempt to disguise the latter as the former, which ends up being horrible at presenting either. This is such irritating trash. I was completely incapable of finishing even the first chapter, and I am a compulsive reader who will read almost anything (like the cereal box, over and over, or even trashy supermarket tabloids when I am waiting in line!). I could not even bear to donate it to the library, as I usually do with books I've finished, because I could not bear the thought of passing it on. I had to dump it into the recycle bin.

A good read
Good basic coverage of a wide range of topics, with some humor thrown in as well. Not super in depth on any one particular issue, and a little dated but its a good read.

Best book available on the failures of the theory of evolutionary
I have looked numerous books on the subject that I found to be very helpful, but Scott, has done a fantastic job of articulating many critical facts concerning how things are made that have been a useful tool in communicating to others the divine authenticity of the universal creation. This is in my opinion the best book available for a lay person seeking an understanding of why the theory of evolution is impossibly wrong. the book illustrates with great clarity how we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Very well done 😍

The most comprehensive case against evolution I have ever read
I find the completeness and factual case made in The Collapse of Evolution to be a compelling case for Creationism. Any atheist should read this to learn the true scientific facts. The data will reveal that his or her beliefs are a faith based system with many holes. Any believer should read this literary masterpiece in order to assist them in evangelising the atheist. I dare you to read this book.

Excellent!
Excellent book steeped in fact as well as mathematical and statistical probability. Not theory and conjecture that doesn't hold water with today's science and what we can see at a cellular level. Great read.

Great book!
This is a great book and is written in an easy to understand way… In other words you don’t need a PHD to follow it. It’s a perfect overview for the curious and then you can dive in deeper from the information in the book in other resources. Truly a great read.
