French Broad and Nolichucky Rivers Map [Cherokee and Pisgah National Forests] (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map, 782)

Be sure to check the edition Amazon ships you. According to the description this map is Publisher: Natl Geographic Society Maps; 3 edition (July 1, 2004). What Amazon sent me was an older 2000 edition. When it comes to this type of map for offroad trails etc, four years makes a huge difference...I have returned this map along with two other maps ordered at the same time that was also older editions (#783 and #779 - 783 should be 2004 received 2000 and 779 should be 2008 received 2006)Amazon needs to ensure they are sending the correct editions....

I was excited about getting this map, but the last revision on the one that arrived was 2004, and there was too much misssing due to the time gap.

If you are wanting to use this map as a trail map to go hiking this is not the map for you. The specific trail we had picked out wasnt even shown on here. Didnt even take this with us to NC, it was useless.

Best maps around. Now they have digital versions too!
