Buy this if you have fruit flies!
We have had a problem with fruit flies for months—-ever since we moved into our new home. I tried everything: red wine, vinegar mixtures, any fruit fly remedy recipe that I could fine online. I finally looked for a fruit fly attractant on Amazon, and I found this. Not much happened in the first 24 hours (maybe it takes time to activate?) but that’s when the magic started. On about the third day, we had at least 20 flies in the two traps we set out. After a week, we no longer had a fruit fly problem. They were all in the traps. I cannot believe how well this worked. I am keeping the traps and purchasing refills as soon as they are available!!! If you have a fruit fly problem, do not hesitate to try this because it is the only thing that worked for me!

This thing WORKS!!!
Amazing trap! I have parrots that eat fresh fruit every day and the fruit flies are a nightmare. This trap began working immediately and I now have a half inch of flies that have sunk to the bottom. Highly recommend. I gave it four stars because it doesn't ship with an extra packet of lure so if you have a bad infestation you may need to buy more sooner than later. I thought the lack of the second packet was a little cheese but the trap IS AMAZING!!!!

Didn't work for me
I let this sit out 3 days and one Fruit fly just sat on the edge, while the other 56 didn't pay it any mind.

Most effective of 4 types trialed
Very effective, we tried four different types of traps and this one consistently caught more flies.

It works!
I put the trap in the kitchen not far from where I have a basket of fruit. I didn't even know I had fruit flies, but they showed up in the trap! I like that this item is based on scientific research. I'll be getting more of these traps in the future.

didn’t see directions and opted first foul bab and lost yeast lure- no fruit flies caught in 4 hours so far
