Have not used the buffer yet but it did run for a test run. I had the battery on the charger for about 40 hrs but according to the instructions, the red light should go out when fully charged. It would not go out so I sent an email to Hawkforce. They responded quickly and asked for some information. A few weeks later I received a different charger and the battery seems to have been charged. Plan to use it in the next few weeks. That's why I gave 4 stars...have not used it yet and don't know about longevity.UPDATE: Got the new battery charger and it works. Used the buffer and it works great. Lightweight, easy to use and well padded. Can't damage your paint. Saves alot of wear and tear on my shoulder which I have had a problem with.Customer Service contacted me to let me know backup batteries were available but I would have to act quickly...they go fast. Up-graded to 5 stars.

I have used the buffer to buff out the gelcoat on my boat. It seems to work well. Having multiple bonnets is a bonus.The test will be how it holds up over time.

I just purchased the HAWKFORCE 10-Inch Cordless Car Polisher Car Buffer. When I opened the box my first thought was wow this is pretty big. I was thankful for that when I started compound waxing my scratched up 2015 f250. I sanded and compound waxed a number areas and with this product was able to buff out a large number of the scratches.I noticed some complained about battery lasting and only having 1 speed. I had no problem with either. In short, unless you are a profession detailer and need a 450.00 buffer the HAWKFORCE is a great product.

Great product, I was able to polish a large sedan -Ford Taurus , so great battery life, quiet motor, easy to handle, excellent price!

I purchased this polisher for my brand new black Audi A6. I wish I had watched online reviews and how-to's before purchasing. If I had I would've gotten a non-orbital polisher. Ultimately if you want to polish your vehicle correctly, the 10" orbital is simply too big to get the lines crevices and uneven panels that constitute most cars.As far as this particular polisher goes, it only goes one speed of 2500 rpms, which isn't ideal for the initial polish application before you begin to buff it in. Other problems include the fact that the microfiber pad does not stay on the buffer! I actually had to add four safety pins just to get it to stay on and finish buffing my car. The pad kept flying off and onto the dirty ground, a definite no-bueno. Finally the manufacturer doesn't seem to have a website or a useful instructions manual or any how to videos. Overall just a dissatisfying experience overall, but it does work and will do what you want it to do if you really want a 10" polisher.

I ordered this to clean screens and the first one had a battery and it worked fine until the battery ran out. The charger did not fit at all so it was worthless without a correct charger. I returned it to Amazon and they sent a replacement. The replacement had NO BATTERY and the same charger as the first one which would not fit the battery. The second one didn't even have a battery so could never use it at all. Returned BOTH.

used it to apply polish to my automobile. It worked well in applying the polish and when I had just finished appying it, the battery went dead..... I had to remove the dried polish by hand. As advertised, the battery should last to do the complete job.A spare battery has become available since the above review. I ordered one today and expect to be completely satisfied.

Makes the car shine very good. I shine both my cars with one charge/battery.
