Trind Nail Balsam and Nail Repair Kit

First, let me say that I've had acrylic type nails for over 30 years. Once I started I couldn't stop because my nails became too weak to go without the acrylic, gel or Nextgen on top. I finally had to stop (just too expensive and time consuming to continue) so I took them off and delt with the pain. I suffered every day. My nails ripped and tore 3 or 4 times a day. I'd just have to hit them against something and they'd tear. I cried all the time because it was so painful! So I researched solutions and found this product. I didn't think anything would work, but WOW!!! I am so thrilled by this product!!! It really works. Not only are my nails strong again, they are longer then they have ever been and it's only been 3 months!!! Key to making this work is following the directions and being patient. You will not see much difference after one month. Do not give up!! The difference happens after 2. And really after 3 months. I would also suggest buying a small bottle of crazy glue. The first month when they rip every day use a dab to hold the rip down. This will stop the nail from getting worse and ripping right off (mine were so bad!). Additional vitamin E oil is also good for soaking the nails in before bed. Really helps the cuticles stay in good condition. I've attached a picture of my nails after 3 months. My husband said they look so nice he doesn't think I ever need nail polish again : )

first off I didn't know it had formaldehyde in it and I've read several publications stating it is a toxin.second - I've used the product for several months, first as instructed everyday for 2 straight weeks then once a week after that. I have no noticeable improvement in my splitting nails.Had to involved Amazon for a refund of the product.

This made my nails worse. Do not buy!Want something that actually works? Buy Nail Envy Original formula, now that is a miracle worker! It completely changed my nails! I had thin nails like paper & was a terrible nail biter. Opi Nail Envy has changed my nails, 360, they are hard and strong and long. I have not had a chip or breakage ever sinceNot this..... this made my nails break when theh grew a little. Do not buy!

I've been using this system (with the buffer that comes with the complete kit) per the instructions for four or five years. My nails mostly stopped splitting at the ends (a real pain when you work in the garden a lot and soil gets *inside* -- not under -- the nail) early in the process but they still break deep down in the quick. Painful and ugly. So I'm thinking of taking a break for a while, using something cheaper, and seeing what happens then. I'll probably keep using the buffer, though, and I'm going to miss the balsam, which felt good on my nails, although my cuticles have never been drier or more brittle.

I've used these 2 products as directed for 3 weeks and can see an improvement in nails. I'm keeping nails short for now, letting them heal after 15+ years of acrylics.

This IS my go to product for my nails. After I stopped getting shellac manicures, my nails were exyremely thin and brittle. I researched this system and I am blown away by the results. Sure fire way to get you nails back into shape after overlays, acrylics and shellac manicures. This is a forever regimen now.Please note - if you are transitioning after an overlay, acrylics etc; your nail bed is very thin and virtually an open wound. I would HIGHLY recommend a keratin strengthener FIRST (TRIND has one also) prior to using TRIND. Unless you can stand the annoying burning sensation... I did and it only burned for the first few days but it is annoying.

I have super thin and soft nails, and this keeps them looking nice. The results of the balsam are immediate and it smells SOOOOOO good!!!! It moisturizes your nails right away. Doesn’t burn and is absorbed pretty much immediately which I like bc oil gets all over the place. The protein stuff does occasionally burn depending on how damaged your nails are (I’ve found anything with protein does that though but it works) and takes a bit to dry since it’s basically a polish so I don’t use it as often but I really love the balsam. I’ve tried pretty much everything on the market and I highly recommend this treatment.
