Seven on a quest - so much excitement, so enjoyable!
The map has changed, leading our seven questers to Jean Luc’s Florida home. The men have much to learn as they become familiar with their new abilities. The ongoing shenanigans as Celia and Jean Luc get to know each other are so much fun. Celia has so many doubts. Martine to Celia: “Desire isn’t foolish, you know. It’s a gift. From one person to the other.” I adore Celia and Jean Luc! They are each shy and unassuming, though I wouldn’t expect a famed sports star to be shy. Celia is complex, and can be ferocious when protecting someone she loves! The group is constantly under threat of attack. The demon has not stopped its pursuit. I was on pins and needles, worried about the outcome! What comes next? I can’t wait! The author has a humorous way of phrasing things that adds a delightful touch to her storytelling.

I enjoy the author but this book was hard for me ...
I enjoy the author but this book was hard for me to finish. The plot is good and the characters are interesting but I had one problem. Celia has a terrible self esteem problem. I understand why she would but about half way through the book I was wanting her to get over it. It is not until the end that you see why she has issues but the continuous lack of confidence that Jean could possibly want her was irritated me. Glad I finished it but I almost didn't.

Loved it!
Celia Lamplighter, a librarian and football star Jean Luc LaTour come together in this book as the group of 7 follow their maps to Jean Luc's home in the Everglades. There the group tries to come up with a plan to capture Arturo, the demon, who has been trying to harvest souls.Celia has grown up feeling invisible all her life and lacks self confidence. Jean Luc has lived in pain since the accident that took his brother's life and ended his football career. This is a delightful tale of these 2 broken souls coming together. I enjoyed the first book and this one even more! Definitely a book that I would recommend. I can't wait to read the next in this series!

Happy
Great story! I really enjoyed the entire plot. Everyone was so real life to the story. I was so afraid that the girls couldn't hold up their parts but was really surprised. Keep writing

Beautiful
The story is so beautifully written you can smell the everglades. Learning how to love and open yourself up is at the heart of this story learning to listen to words unsaid.

💕A trip to the Everglades brings them more trouble, but Celia and Jean Luc make the best of it!😜
👍Enjoyable follow-up to the first in the series, this time the focus is on romance building for tattooed librarian Celia and former star footballer turned 🐻 bear shifter Jean Luc. There's a good building of tension between the two, and some emotional wounds and insecurities for them to overcome. I found Jean Luc the more appealing of the two as he gently takes responsibility for the group of seven as they head off to face the evil Arturo in the backwoods of the Everglades, near his family's homestead. His sad loss of family and career makes him a tragic hero. I could not fault Jean Luc's character; his only weakness seemed his inability to express himself and curb some of Celia's misconceptions of what he expected from their relationship.Celia, on the other hand, is a bit too consistently insecure about her self worth and uber self deprecating. I don't recall her being this insecure in the prior book. Still, they do have chemistry together and have each other's back. The story is well-written and has a satisfying HFN but leaves major issues to continue in the next in the series.I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author; this is my voluntary and honest review.

HE DID IT, HE SHIFTED ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS THINK OF HER
Selena Scott has a great 4 STARS in her new book The Shifter's Embrace. This terrific read about a quest to follow the maps that 7 people for whatever reason felt the need to follow to the first map location, somehow foiled the Demon's attempt at soul stealing and forged a close family like friendship. So, now are In Florida, the Everglades the next point on map, in their now group quest to follow their maps yet keep their souls while doing so. Together they bond as a unit, indiviuals, some as fighting units and then some as couples. Our main couple in this book is our Lil Librian and Super Hunk Ex NFL PLAYER who is more than 1+1/2 her size! It is interesting. I find both the characters and the quest readable and interesting. I left a star off because since it was real time or current, after 2 weeks I couldn't see even men who would not want to call somebody about work, appartment, to cancel an appointment/date, maybe a pet, and I just mean "Something" . WARNING:.18 & up sex

This is a interesting read and I enjoyed reading it
This is a romantic story with a twist. There is magic, demons, shifters and demon hunters with thrills and action, mystery and adventure, suspense and intrigue and much more as we follow the lives of a group of people who found their way together to follow a trail where there is something waiting for them at every step of the way. In order to protect themselves from evil they need to work together but to do that they must work out how to do just that. Will this unlikely bunch be able to pull together before one of them lose their life? This is a interesting read and I enjoyed reading it.The storyline is well thought out and I loved the characters. If you love a book that has all of the above then grab a copy and enjoy the read.
