This game is really fun! My husband and I are both looking forward to playing it again! I can definitely see how it would be a perfect game to help couples who are struggling to get to know each other better and work through their problems. The questions that the game brings up are so perfect for that. But it is also a FUN GAME, if you enjoy board games. The questions can either go really deep or be pretty light-hearted, it all depends on how you choose to answer. (You also have the option to pass on a question if it is too sensitive at the time or something.) My husband and I loved the balance of innocent fun and intimate fun. There are a few times when you get to make your partner do whatever you want for 2 min. It's little parts like this that let you control the tone of the game, depending on your mood at the time.The ppl who complained about this game being only for Christians are so ridiculous. We looked through every single card and there was not 1 single mention of anything religious anywhere. There is a pamphlet that accompanies the game, that is basically like a self help pamphlet if you want to read more about how to help your marriage. On that pamphlet there are several scriptural references. But the pamphlet has nothing to do with the game. It's just an extra item they included for your benefit if you want it. Also, I saw a few reviews complain that the game forces you to have a kid before you can win, as if that is a requirement in life. While I understand the sensitivity that this subject can bring up for those who are unable to have children, it is such a small part of the game that it is easy to overlook if you just don't think about it. It's just like any other game, they had to set requirements for the winner, and since children commonly happen eventually as part of a couple's life, it makes sense that they put this as 1 of the requirements. But if you want to complain about it, that's fine I guess.But this is absolutely a wonderful game, whether your marriage is great, not great, or you feel you just want a little extra spice for the relationship. It is not a "sex game", and it is not just a marriage-in-trouble game. But if you let it, it WILL improve your relationship, and you WILL have a great date night playing it :)

My wife and I played this game last night and our first impression is that the game itself is pretty fun, though kind of weird. By weird I mean that all of our assets are separate; separate finances, separate properties, and separate children...which is weird in the context of marriage. Normal for a board game but it's funny to think about.Regarding the experience, the game states that "some of your most memorable experiences are inside this box" and I was skeptical at first but it's quite possible. I know we had a memorable experience and a lot of laughter while playing it. It definitely brought us closer and was well worth the money.The way I see it, you can play this game one of two ways: for emotional or physical intimacy. If you're playing for physical intimacy, you won't get very far in the game without getting distracted. If you're playing for emotional intimacy, the game gives you great opportunities to learn more about each other through the Discovery cards.If I may offer one suggestion, it would be to create a "2-Minute Wish List" prior to playing the game so that when landing on those spaces you don't have to think for 10 minutes. Things like scratch my back, give me a massage, etc. (they don't have to be physical though).Overall I highly recommend!

I purchased this game over 2 years ago for a Valentine's gift. We never played until last night during our anniversary weekend while staying at home. I am not much of a game player. I must say that this game was a lot of fun. It is very similar to Monopoly. Our 1st game took us about 2 hours to complete, but it did not seem that long. We enjoyed the mix of thought provoking questions and challenges to please one another. During this time we talked more about different subjects that we normally do in a very fun manner. I highly recommend this to any couple regardless of your stage in life. We have been married 30+ years. My only regret is not playing sooner.

I never write reviews, but I had to write a review for this amazing product. My husband and I have been having intimacy issues due to other issues (such as communication) over the last 8 years that just made us gradually forget how to be intiment with one another. His issue was not feeling loved through intimacy from me and mine was lack of communication from him. This game hit both our issues on the head. I was skeptical of this after reading reviews thinking there is no way this is going to work for us but at this point there is nothing to lose. When I told my husband I bought a board game for us to play he was not too excited about it but he was willing to try it out because he knew it meant something to me. After playing the game from 8 pm - to midnight (with an 8 week old at home.... Point being we welcomed lack of sleep to play this game because we were having so much fun) we were both sold. We had such an amazing time playing this game. It forced us to communicate and be intiment. It even made us ask questions that we have never asked before (and I would have sworn we talked about everything before). My husband said I want to play this game every night and that this was the most fun /best night we had in a very long Time. If you are contemplating buying this game, BUY IT ... You will NOT regret it.

Well I bought this game for my husband and I a couple of months ago and we were waiting to play it on a special evening. We did look at it and read the rules, checked out the cards. It really looks like fun but I didnt take the play money out so when the night came for us to play I opened it up to find that all but 5 of the bills were $500 bills, no fifties at all so that definitely ended that idea for tonight anyway though I am sure we can find something to do or I can make some or figure something out but it made me a little pissed so I am writing this review first. Probably not very helpful to consumers but it made me feel better!
