Received this 2 days ago and I've used it every day since then. Cooked chicken wings today and they came out so delicious! I suspect this will be my new mode of cooking from here on out. Cooks beautifully and was so simple to learn how to use it. Cleans up easily too. Excellent product. I researched so many brands and read comments from purchasers of many different fryers. I liked the positive comments about this Tidylife Fryer, so that's why I chose this Fryer...the positive comments. I also like that's it's XL as when I cook I like to share with family. I had noticed some other brands had 1400 watts and others had 1500, but this Tidylife is 1700 watts so to my mind I figured that was a plus too. All in all I'm very pleased with this air fryer.

Kind of difficult to turn on at first. you have to hold the power button down, it doesn’t really say this in the instructions. I’ve found this works best on frozen foods. When I used fresh meat with an egg/flour batter it didn’t turn out so well. But frozen wings, fries, chicken fingers, etc turn out great

This air fryer is wonderful it has a 18 months warranty plus if you attach your order number and send it in to them within 10 days after receiving the air fryer they give you a additional 6 months on your warranty the air fryer is so easy to use very powerful it has a 9 1/2 cooking basket you can't go wrong with this air fryer. I would like to add that in the write up's on this air fryer they state it will cook a 2.2 LBS roasting chicken that's pretty small for a 5.8 fryer i took my basket from the air fryer to the market it will hold between 5 and 6 pound chicken that's a big difference i think they should correct that misprint so far this fryer is great.

There is definitely a learning curve to this appliance. I still haven't mastered asparagus but everything else has been very tasty. My only complaint is that it puts out a smell when cooking that is closely akin to an electrical burning odor. I thought that it was because it was new but I've used it too many times for it to be a "new" smell. My husband says if the smell continues every time I use it, it'll have to find a new home.

I liked the size and versatility but there were two issues that I really didn’t like. First, after about 5 uses, it still smells like burnt plastic when in use and the second is that it is tricky to latch closed. I am not sure whether this is something in general or if it’s standard with air fryers but I am contacting the company to find out what I need to do to remedy the situation or it goes back.Tried to reach the manufacturer for product information and there is no customer service to reach. Went to their suggested Facebook site and I was the ONLY one that had left a comment. Not helpful about their product and Amazon technical product support was NO help!

I'd spent a couple of months reading reviews - to make the decision on an air-fryer purchase...I definitely made the right one! Size of 5.8 qt. is perfect for my husband and me, with the allowance of space for air-frying a whole chicken, etc. The simplicity was more than appreciated, along with the digital numbers when programming being large and bright for ease in seeing. As with the operation of this cooker, the clean-up was an absolute breeze! I have no complaints and would highly recommend this product and also the company; shipping was quick and everything packaged as promised.

People complain of the electric smell and it hasn't gone away after multiple usage. Doesn't cook frozen stuff very well. Takes 2-3 times longer than deep fryer. Tends to dry out food. Overall it works, but I am done playing with it. It will sit on the shelf until I do a yard sale. Deep oil fryer is the way to go for me.

I have never like to fry stuff at home, but the whole idea has been changed since I had this air fryer. I was able to get french fries, chicken wing, and some other ready to eat foods in an efficient fashion. Most importantly, there is no messy or greasy oil after cooking. You can simply apply the detergent and rinse off the pot. The air fryer has a large capacity, which holds a large meal for a family of 3-4. The air fryer comes with eight default setting, you can just press the button and wait for the food to be done.
