I have one of the previous models and thought this one would better, it's slightly better and NOT as pictured! The antenna stand in the picture is the old crescent shaped plastic piece with the sticks to hold the antenna. Not what I was hoping for or looking for. And when I connected everything and started the channel scan, I lost several channels I'd had previously with the older model. Same placement, etc. so not sure what's changed. I have noted that the radius for signals is very low and I live in a decently populated area, so very disappointed with the performance! Still looking for something better, but currently using this one and LOCAL channels are coming in good, so that's a plus!

This converter box works very well. It’s a good value for the $. The antenna is a plus. I get 77 channels and my picture quality is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised. I use my HDMI ports and it’s perfect. I appreciate that the antenna is small and comes with a holder since I don’t do stickers on walls! I’ve had issues with recorded shows not playing back a few times and have had to reformat the flash drive. You can format your usb drive on the converter box. This corrected the problem I was having. I wish the printed manual was larger. Print is tiny. Pictures are useless. There is a support email and a cs phone number. They answered the phone when I called and respond promptly to emails. This is a plus as well! Overall, I’m very pleased and happy to not be paying a dime for cable! The converter box is also small and compact. I like that. I highly recommend this particular model.

The converter box arrived on time. Set up was ok as far as hooking up and scanning for channels. Surprisingly, I found more digital channels the ever before and the picture quality was very good and in HD. The channel guide only shows the current day and not seven days as advertised. Setting up shows to record was a little time consuming because of the lack of the seven day guide. I recorded shows to an external card reader. 30 minute shows recorded form beginning to end. 60 minute shows DID NOT. I attempted to record two different 60 minute shows and BOTH recordings ended at exactly 37 minutes and 53 seconds. I had plenty of space on my memory stick too. I don't think it was a coincidence that they each failed at the same time. ANOTHER issue with the recordings was that on playback, SOME of the shows played back with a digital voice in the background providing a video description of was was playing on my TV and there was no way to turn it off. That option on my tv was in fact turned off. All shows recorded were from the same channel. My local CBS station. Pretty disappointed with the recording function of this unit.

The converter did not work right out of the box, they were very nice and fast with returning my money but they ask me to take down the negative review I had posted. I looked for and could not find my original review, I purchased this product because of the reviews and feel people have the right to all the reviews. The circumstances of my purchase may be a one-time thing that never happens again but it did happen to me and people who plan on buying this product should know.

Liked: Unboxed my new Exuby, attached to flat antenna, attached RGB cable from Exuby to my old analog TV and plugged Exuby to my electric socket. Pointed flat antenna NW toward most of my TV channel towers. Auto Channel Search was easy to find in Menu and took about 15-20 minutes to complete. Loaded a total of seven channels, 2 more than expected. The whole process seemed very intuitive and easy. Exuby Customer Service was very friendly and helpful with a question I had.Disliked: Auto-scan process appears to scan for TV plus radio stations but scan did not “find” any local radio stations just TV. Guessing the flat antenna has tuning only for TV frequencies. This is not a true (dislike) since I am primarily interested in the TV channels.

This product seems promising at first, but after a couple weeks its terrible. First, it starts to overheat and then the audio isn't syncing with the video which sometimes requires to go into the settings to change it around or turn it on and off until syncs again. Then it will randomly turn on on its own, tends to happen to me in the night when no one could've accidentally turned it on which means its already hot by the time you want to use it. Recently it will randomly shut off and requires unplugging and reconnecting it to try to get it to turn on again. I would not recommend buying this.

Cords are very short, volumes keeps going up and down.I get plenty of channels but can’t watch due to volume always changing on it own.Close captions never works correctly so I can’t understand what is being said and I miss out on a lot.Don’t recommend.

Great if you’re looking for a cheap solution and are close to tv stations. If you’re further from town, you may want to consider an antenna with higher gain.
