The Nine Pregnancy Countdown Journal

A perfect journal for my first pregnancy!
I ordered this in the beginning of my pregnancy but didn't start to use it seriously until the second trimester. And I regret not having used it sooner! I am now in the beginning of my third trimester. When I was writing this week's entry, I decided I have to come back here and give my 5-star review. This pregnancy is my first and it has been very difficult, emotionally and physically, on me. My husband is also away from me so the support I can receive from him is very limited. While all the people around me are from a different culture and most of them do not have any related experience as mine. I feel lonely and have no one to talk to and share my experience with. But this journal helps and make my life happier... It knows every major thing I am going through and will ask me about it. I am someone who needs to talk about my issues and this journal is such a good listener and knows the right questions to ask. I highly recommend it and hope that those who have purchased it have the patience and time to write in it every week. It also has cute little sections for you to put your pregnancy pictures and ideas of your wardrobe, nursery down. This journal looks a little boring because it doesn't have any colored pictures or anything fancy but it does its job, at least for me. It also reminds me how far along I am and when I need a celebration to indulge myself... things like that.

Compact and Thorough Pregnancy Journal
I really liked this compact, structured journal with lots of different prompts from headlines, appointments, cravings, breaking the news, etc. Does reference words like "omg" often, so can be geared towards a specific demographic. Ultimately an awesome book with various prompts but limited space to write your own notes, which just wasn't the balance I was looking for, so I did return it.

Cute book to document milestones
I searched for awhile for a pregnancy journal and this one seemed to give me the most flexibility to write what I wanted to write about. There are dedicated sections to put pictures, talk about names, dreams, first kicks, etc. in addition to the journal part. I think it's worth keeping your own journal beyond this for all the experiences you go through, but this is a nice addition to remember milestones, experiences, current events during your pregnancy, among others.

Simple and to the point-- doesn't require a lot of writing
I realize that maybe some people prefer to write all kinds of information about their pregnancy, but I am using multiple books/websites to record my pregnancy. What I enjoy about this book is that you really only need to sit down once a week and answer the prompts. Some of the prompts appear at certain weeks that may not apply to you, but you can go back and fill them out. Like me, I'm not showing at 18 weeks so I don't have any belly photo's for the past 18 weeks. I'm planning to use those spaces for other things, or just to leave them blank.Otherwise, I skip the news headlines because I don't watch TV.I fill out all the little: "what's up with your head" "whats' up with your bod?" "what's up with your complexion?" These prompts changes and repeat, but it makes it really easy to record things like symptoms, etc. There are some places to record favorite names and I love that. It's very colorful and easy to read. There isn't a bunch of filler about what to expect in your pregnancy. It is strictly a fill out the prompts, check the boxes, kind of book.If something doesn't apply to me, I just fill that in as so or leave it blank. It's really a nice design. The cover is hard and there are tabs for each month.. and within the month tabs are each week. Each week is about 2 pages. It's really very simple and if you're not looking to come up with a bunch of stuff to write about and would rather have simple answers to easy questions, this book is probably for you.If you would also rather check boxes to describe your work generally, rather than write full on paragraphs, this is for you too. There is no "scrapbooking" involved in this book, except if you want to paste in your ultrasound images. One of my favorite parts of the book is check all of the words that describe your week. There is an other box and sometimes they don't have the word I want, so I just write it on the page somewhere.Good buy. Would recommend to someone who doesn't want alot of writing, details or scrapbooking involved in recording their pregnancy.:)

Simple, easy to use
I wanted a book that would have questions that i could answer because I might forget to write about some of the simple but most important things. It doesnt have but about 6-7 pages to write whatever you want and the rest are all questions that you have to answer. I do like that. I would still buy a normal journal in case i do feel like writing down random thoughts. It is best to get as soon as you are know that you are pregnant because I received it at 15 weeks and it is hard to go back 15 weeks and try to remember what happened each week espeically after "pregnancy brain" kick in and your memnory isnt what it used to be. It tracks your pregnancy week by week. It has pages in the back for all your most important doctor appointments. It has pages for pictures throughout the pregnancy including the ultrasound pics. The book itself is neutral, simple and cute for any mother. The price still seems a little high for me, but after buying and returning (multiple) and searching for other pregnancy books, this one was worth it. Kept it and love that I can show it to my sisters and other family when they ask how its been going and i can shoe them the book and use it to reflect back on myself. it helps and then it also brings up things you may have forgotten.

Excellent!
I absolutely love this journal! I am a to be a first time mom and wanted to keep track of my thoughts and things happening during my pregnancy, but I am too busy to keep a proper journal. I bought this one and loved it. It has a brilliant set up, and offers prompts to get you writing. It is divided into months and weeks within those, has spaces for scans, photos as mini-scrap book ideas (of nursery and maternity wear). The dates differ a bit from the scans and appointments that you get in the UK, but you can easily work around that by adding the date or your own personal notes. I highly recommend it for any mom-to-be, that is busy but still wants to write down some thoughts every week.PS. It does not have information on the development of the baby or what is going on every month it is purely a journal for you to fill in. This was perfect for me as I already have baby/pregnancy books.
