I absolutely love this story line, it's hard to put down after the first volume and I have to say that I blew through these first 4 volumes in a few hours, but I have spent days re-reading and enjoying the art work and all it's characters. Maria, our main character, is funny without meaning to be, she's strong, and she may be afraid to stand on her own, but she'll do it anyway, if only to start living life the way that she wants to, and I absolutely love her. I will be rooting for her and shin all the way! Even as old friends who aren't so much as friends start showing up in volumes 5 and 6. This is a great buy and I highly recommend it. Buyer beware-its addicting. ;)

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite mangas. The characters are layered and honest and the story isn't predictable. I definitely love it.
