Cocoons sidekick flip-ups feature warp around lenses that offer the wearer additional protection from both peripheral line of sight and from light that enters from above. With these revolutionary improvements in flip-up design, the majority of light is now filtered through the UV absorptive filters or blocked by the brow bar. All sidekick models are available in lemon, boysenberry, orange, Hazelnut and Smoke. The scratch resistant, non-polarized polycarbonate absorptive filters are extremely durable and designed to withstand harsh treatment during daily use. The side shields are precisely regulated to match the exact light transmission, UV cut off and tint of the accompanying front absorptive filters. Cocoons polarized sunglasses are specially designed to be worn over prescription eyewear. The patented frame designs comfortably and conveniently provide instant protection from 100% of damaging UV rays while maintaining the visual acuity provided by your existing corrective eyewear. Cocoons sunglasses feature scratch resistant Polare polarized lenses that eliminate 100% of blinding glare encountered in the outdoors. All models feature adjustable Flex2Fit temples that allow you to manually contour the temples for an exact custom fit that is extremely comfortable and secure. All Cocoons sunglasses include a protective neoprene case, large lens cloth and a limited lifetime warranty.

Cheap plastic crap
This thing should be worth 50cents max. It is made of super cheap plastic with a gigantic clip that tapes up most of my glasses. I have medium sized frames. The swivel is also very finicky. The thing looks ridiculous when you wear it. And man was it completely scratched up and dingy when I got it. If you were lead to believe these were special or medical grade of some kind by the Cocoons PR blubbering, you should stop now. They are not polarized, and the tint is a bit more orange than most amber sunglasses, but otherwise they are very cheap plastic sunglasses that are optically not very clear. They also aren't any darker than normal sunglasses. If you are photosensitive and want a much darker pair of sunglasses, along with dozens of lens colors and darkness amounts and frame choices, all much higher quality and for not much more cost, go check out Noir Medical sunglasses.

Works fine for me
I like the color and tint of these glasses. They fit my galsses - all the models I found in stores don't (costco, walmart, target)I also like that they flip up out of the way.I also like that they block the sun from above (perhaps not visible in the product image)They are surprisingly light for the amount of coverage they offer.I do have 2 comments:- I would have liked the sides to extend down further.- I don't know why the rounded parts that connect the sides to the front are matt - that creates somewhat of a blind spot (maybe I have an older or newer model). But would buy more and recomend - they are easy to demonstrate as they clip on...

This is annoying and even dangerous while you're driving
You cannot see through side flaps. This is annoying and even dangerous while you're driving. From the pictures in the website, it appears that you could see through the side flaps. I called to the company to complain and they said I'd have to ship them back at my own expense and they'd better be in resellable condition, etc. Didn't seem to want to hear my point that their product is misrepresented. Looking straight on is ok, but peripeheral vision is blocked.

Love them!
This clip on sunglasses do exactly what I had hoped. They block sunlight from the top and sides which you don't get with normal clip on's. The only thing that kept the score from a 5 is the frosted area at the curvature on the sides. I am sure they did that due to distortion caused by the curve effect. Maybe it is a good thing as it forces me to turn my head when looking to the side rather than shift my eyes. Wish they were polarized, but I knew that when I bought them.

Then plus the flip up option makes them my favorite sunglasses to wear over prescription glasses
This is my third pair. I like the idea of wraparound/flip up. But I very much do NOT like that they break so easily. The last pair simply got crooked. I am not sure I will want to spend the money again if and when these break. My other pairs of fit over sunglasses are very sturdy and do not break.

not useful and returned for my money back
Glad I was able to get my money back from prime. There was no problem with that process. Dance classes are grossly under size and the way they clip on my standard glasses is very poor. I will have to keep looking.

Weightless protection.
Wrap-around protection without the weight of temple frame. The lemon improves brightness and detail, perfect for safety glasses, especially with the flip-up feature. Oddly, the corners are frosted and subtract from peripheral vision. Otherwise, an excellent alternative to sun glasses or safety glasses, depending on color.

They seem to work fine as far as what is advertised
They seem to work fine as far as what is advertised. I do have trouble keeping them in place. If I accidentally bump them, I find that they end up on the floor. These are a replacement of another pair of the yellow tinted Cocoons fit over glasses. I am actually wearing the old pair of fit over glasses right now, even though I replaced them with these flip up glasses, because they were scratched. I do believe that I will order another pair of the Cocoons fit over glasses.
