Readable everywhere and even at times entertaining. You won't regret buying this book.

Chuck Missler was an amazing repository of knowledge regarding the bible and this book reflects that. Don't expect this to be a breezy read though. there are collegiate level theories and explanations in this text. That said it is an awesome source of further enlightenment.

This is a new favorite book for me to reference. I listened to the YouTube videos of Learn the Bible in 24 hours and love having the book with it. The insight and knowledge I gained on the Bible is such a blessing. I highly recommend everyone who wants a deeper understanding of the Bible to listen and read what Dr Chuck Missler has to offer.

The book is based on the widely popular video series, which as it name states, consists of 24 1 hour videos that go through the books of the Bible (the videos are available on YouTube). I loved the videos so much that I decided to purchase the book to go with it.One of Chuck's favorite expressions is “The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed. The Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed.” This book (and the videos) do an incredible job of proving this out. The book summarizes the Bible, highlights the integrity of the OT and NT, reviews the OT prophesies that were fulfilled in the NT, and calculates statistical probability of Jesus fulfilling the prophecies of the Messiah in the Scriptures (there are over 300 prophesies detailing the coming Messiah and all were fulfilled).A description on the Koinonia Institute website describes the series as: Using sound scientific facts, historical analysis, and Biblical narrative, Dr. Missler weaves together a rich tapestry of information, providing an accurate understanding of Scripture’s relation to itself, to us, and to the world at large. This book will lead the reader through the entire Old Testament in a logical systematic manner. This overview of the Old Testament will emphasize the integrity of design as well as an introduction to conservative hermeneutics with an emphasis on inerrancy and using the Bible to interpret itself. ♥ Love this guy!! ♥Hey Chuck, just after I got saved, having read the New Testament and put on my knees, I decided to start at the beginning. I wanted to see what the Old Testament was all about, even though I'd studied it in Mormon Seminary- most the time, I just didn't care what they were telling me, and did my make-up instead. So my -now- husband gave me this to read along side it. He wasn't into telling me much about Christianity or the Bible. He made me seek my own answers so I couldn't say that I was Christian for my husband, I was Christian because I found it to be true. BUT, WHAT I LOVE, LOVE, ABOUT CHUCK MISSLER... is that he, respectfully, will tell the truth as he sees it. I don't need any powder puff feel good truth and neither do you. Use your brain, people, and if it offends you, so be it, but don't let it offend you without thoroughly thinking it through. This is a very light introduction to Chuck. He gives very Clear explanations of what's going on in the Bible. Sometimes when you read the Bible, there is SO MUCH that you just read that it is good to step back and put it into perspective. This he does, with clarity, and insight. It's a quick read, unless it's next to your Bible for the entire year you're reading it through. Then you know what you should do, LISTEN TO MORE CHUCK MISSLER. :) And use your head. And be open minded to things like fallen angels, and what UFOs really are. WAKE UP! and read your Bible! then WAKE UP again to Jesus. And then WAKE UP again to what's going on in the world. And then tell people.Thanks Chuck! Mean it. ♥

I see the bible in a new light. Really this is a good overview of the bible for those who like science. There are videos of each hour on you tube. They make a good combination. Keep your bible handy. This would make a good gift for busy people that want to learn more about the bible and christianity.

Very interesting to look at the bible from a different point of view. Partially heavy to understand but great for discussions with non believers who want things to be proven.
