Takes the weight and uses metal arms.
The polyurethane arms broke on my previous 2 chairs. These are metal and should go the distance. I am a big heavy sort of chap and these chairs are designed to carry the load. They look ok too and are comfortable.

Difficult to assemble
This chair was a nightmare to assemble and the hexagonal tool provided was wholly inadequate. I had extreme difficulty attaching the back to the rest of the chair. In the end, with the help of a friend with long handled hex driver, I had to remove the arms from the seat and attach them to the back. Then to line up the holes for the bolts we had to use 6 inch nails to keep it in position in order to screw the bolts in. Very comfortable chair, however, and bears my weight very well.

Good chair
We've had the chair for a while now and it's survived regular use without any obvious signs of wear or early failure. It's comfortable and has all the usual expected adjustments so very pleased with it.

Strong but too small
This is a conflicting review and posdibly the hardest I have had to write. Delivery was quick, the chair was fairly easy to put together, (but you will need 2 people) and the addition of two sets of wheels is brilliant.Once put together the chair is very strong, looks great and is super comfortable, my housemate and daughter love the chair. Sadly the chair was not for them, I am 28 stone and on the very large size, we bought this chair because of its max weight strength. It def is strong enough... But the seat is only 50cm wide and I cannot physically fit in it at all.The arms are not adjustable and the back is only fixed on by the arms so that is not adjustable either. So by unscrewing the arms I have list the back and have essentially paid £160 for a fancy stool on wheels. My own fault for not checking the seat width but as the chair is made to hold up to 30 stone, I did expect the seat to be bigger. If you are a regular size person it is a very strong and comfy chair... But if you are a bigger heavier person, this sadly is not the chair for you.

Nice and brown
Being a rather huge man this suits my needs adequately. My posterior is rather huge and I do have a tendancy for flatulence. It being leather means the smell does not soak into the chair and should I accidentally follow through its easy to wipe off. Being brown too helps as you can't see any little accidents but make sure you have some tissue handy incase a colleague sits in it whilst getting it, many a time I've had a co worker walking round with a brown spot on their behind.

Reasonable office chair
Generally it has withstood my heavy weight well.A bit more padding to the seat would have improved it.I have just replaced the gas lift after 14 months of use. This took me about an hour. A person of normal weight would probably have had much longer use from the original.Otherwise the design, materials, size, height and comfort are all good.

Disappointed
This chair was really comfortable to begin with and I still have no quarrel with the comfort. However, less that one year after purchase the chair valve cylinder has stopped working and I rapidly sink to the lowest level after adjusting to the top level. Considering that this chair is not cheap and I weigh only just over half the chair's weight capacity, I am very disappointed and would not buy again or recommend to anyone. If it was only the one chair, I would give them the benefit of the doubt but I purchased two of these chairs and they have both developed the same fault.

Recline is worthless, other than that strong, fairly comfortable, little difficult to assemble.
I purchased this chair (TPF Living Denver model) because I am very heavy (160kg), I had one that looked identical (arms, bolts, assembly...everything) and was also a TPFliving chair at a previous work. That previous chair was actually cheaper than this but had same material, same painted arms but i don't think it was a Denver, it seemed like a taller back. Anyway, they stopped making the other cheaper priced one and so I bought this. Assembly seemed similar though was a bit of a pain to get the holes on the backrest aligned and to get the bolts to catch the thread but I managed in the end. On to the chair. Seems similar to the other one, must be slightly smaller as not a lot of room in it and I'm actually smaller than I was when I sat in the other by nearly 20kg (the other withstood that 180kg load easily).***The recline is a joke, even at maximum loose setting underneath on the knob the chair does not recline far enough back to counteract the spring, the spring tensioner is set at max loose and the chair will flip my 160kg body forward into the straight position like I wasn't even there, so worthless. This is a shame since the previous chair was able to recline and i could hang in that reclined position for as long as I wanted.***
