I have not yet used it to read a book but I have used it daily for a variety of things, such as searching my dark wardrobe to find clothes, to look under or down the side of furniture when I drop something. I wrapped it round my wrist and secured it to my sleeve to change a light bulb in a dark room & used it around the car engine. I clip it to my bed sheet at night incase I need a night light.Its exceeded my expectations as it is so light weight you can pop it in your bag and I have found it immensely useful and can't wait to use it for camping, reading etc.

Bought this product because I was in need for a lamp of some sort in my bedroom but something that was minimalistic and didn't take up too much room and this product fits this requirement! It doesn't take long to charge up and it gives out the right amount of light in the dark that doesn't burn your eyes if they are sensitive like mine. Love this product, would recommend this especially if your looking for a mini lamp that you can place anywhere in your room during the night. Arrived on time and it does the job.

It came the very next day as requested.I am really happy with the Satelite reading light, I like how i can move and fix the light into the exact position i want, along with the adjustable light setting this helps me from keeping my partner awake from late night reading, it’s also very light which is helpful as I like to travel and it’s great that it is rechargeable.I will definitely be recommending these and buying more for Christmas gifts.

Absolutely perfect for what I needed it for. Now my boyfriend won't complain about me leaving the lights on, and I can sleep more easily after I finish reading! It's kinda stylish too. Very well made, I haven't had it for long, but it feels like it will last a long time, fits on my books perfectly, it's all I could really want from a book light, definitely recommend for anyone who likes to read at night, it's a must.

Very useful product. I have always wanted a reading light that was portable, good quality and easy to use. One of the great advantages is that it doesn't take batteries - you can charge it alongside your other electrical items. It also has two settings, so you can adjust the brightness according to your surroundings. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes to read on the go or in bed.

Very lightweight, can clip onto a book or in the bed frame, has two different light settings and battery lasts very long!! Great purchase

Sometimes I want to carry on reading my book in bed for a while after Mrs E. L. Wisty wants to go to sleep - just the kind of scenario this is intended to address. I took one of these seeing as it is rechargeable - other reading lights I have seen use CR2032 or other expensive batteries which I didn't really want to faff around with regularly replacing.It's much, much larger than I was expecting, compared to ones I have seen in bookshops. Having a rechargeable battery obviously makes a difference but even so. The clip in particular is quite large and you need to clip it over a thickish collection of pages really.The light output is not all that restricted in directionality. Even on the lower light setting, and even if I bend the neck of the light right down into the middle of the book it still throws a fair bit of extraneous light around the room, more than enough to be capable of annoying Mrs E. L. Wisty and disturbing her. In effect it's not really usable for the intended purpose.The usage time is not as long as claimed, certainly not in terms of providing full illumination over that period - the light becomes noticeably and considerably dimmer after just a couple of hours.

As promised in the product description the “SATELITE” is a mini LED lamp that is stable but not destructive clipped to the edge of a book and lets you read at night without the room or bedside lamp on.It’s LEDs, so not power hungry, and rechargeable, so more eco friendly than anything demanding a couple of AA or AAA batteries.It arrived charged enough to test out of the box, but not enough to last one night’s reading.When fully charged, the LEDs were noticeably brighter.There are two settings, reached through a three-click cycle, both of which light up the book well enough to read. In fact, two could probably manage with one lamp.It illuminates the bedroom like strong moonlight. Fine for reading, but you will need to test how tolerant and willing to compromise your companion is, once they decide to try to get to sleep.Ow we’ve seen the output fully charged we have hopes for it as a spotlight for craft work, but that will have to wait until we’re back at home with the crafting stuff.
