Boom Microphone Volume Cable for Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Over-Ear to Gaming Headphone for Skype PS4 Xbox One Phone (Black)

Any sound that is meant to sound on the right side, sounds on the left side, and any sound that is meant to sound on the left side, sounds on both sides. I've tried using the split cable aswell and I get the same results. The cable is completely unusable.

I got the black/braided cable version and the cable rub is a bit annoying and the locking mechanism isn't lined up correctly with the my Sennheiser HD1's so locking the mic in place puts it at a 90 degree angle (perpendicular to where you'd want it) BUT the sound quality is awesome, locking it doesn't seem necessary as it still stays plugged in and it's great being able to use my favorite headphones in any situation.In fact I think I'm going to keep this with no hard feelings and order the orange/rubber cable version as well.

The mic itself has a great full range sound. Not thin or muffled like so many headsets. It is omnidirectional though, so it picks up a decent amount of room noise. I'd recommend using the "Voicemeeter Banana" freeware to tune a noisegate for it. *hint* this can be found for $9 on fleabay. TOTALLY worth the price, even if it doesn't last forever.
