Low Tech Problem Solver
I ALWAYs wear my seatbelt. It was ingrained in by my parents so much so that I feel uncomfortable driving even a few feet without wearing one. I also insist that all passengers wear seatbelts in my car. I think you should too! With that said, I purchased this device to solve a high tech problem with a low tech and low cost solution. My 2015 Jetta's passenger seat has a sensor in it to determine if a person is sitting in it. If the sensor detects a person an alarm will sound for them to buckle up. The problem is that the sensor is so sensitive that even the weight of a phone charging cord will set it off. Sometimes two or three sheets of paper will also. This is no exaggeration. While the car was still under warranty, I brought it to the dealer who told me that was a feature, not a bug. There is a way to disable seat belt alarms for the entire car, but I don't want that. If somebody else drives my car, I want the alarm to function for the driver. So, this elegant, low tech solution has allowed me to place usb cables and mail on my empty passenger seat without an alarm going off every 30 seconds. It has saved my sanity (what's left of it).

You know what’s up.
When I crash and get ejected through my windshield I can only hope that one day someone will find my totaled car in a discount salvage lot and find these bad boys poking out from the seats. As I draw my last breath I’ll let out a small exhausted laugh and think about the folks at Tikit that made it all possible. Is the combination of a bottle opener and a seat belt silencer a bad combo? Did George Washington and his homies think that crossing the ice cold Delaware river in the middle of the night was a good idea? Did you wear Pit Vipers before they became retro-cool? Do you high five your mom when she remembers to cut the crust off that sweet sweet peanut butter and jelly slamwich? If you answered yes to all of the above, then the Tikit bottle opener/not a seatbelt silencer is for you. Ride on you savages, ride on.

Fits in 2013 Jetta TDI perfectly!
Greatest product ever invented, my backpack would set off my passenger seat sensor and the seatbelt alarm would constantly go off while I was driving, now I don’t have to bother messing with the seat belt. Plus they look great and can open pop bottles (wink wink). I also do a lot of farm work which consists of driving through fields and getting in/out constant, no more stupid dinging sounds.

A little tight of a fit but still good
Yes you can use them for opening a bottle, but that's a plus. I purchased these to temporarily turn off the stupid seat belt chime on a 2019 Tacoma. I admit it, I'm guilty, on back gravel roads and parking lots, I don't wear my seat belt - if I get into an accident at 5mph, I'm pretty sure a seat belt isn't going to be a factor in my survival. Under normal driving, I wear my seat belts - just don't need a chime to scream until I decide it's time to put it on. As for fit, I found that it is just slightly too wide for the 2019 Tacoma. No worries, I few light strikes of a flat file made for a perfect fit. This is the width, not the thickness. I can also confirm that they work equally well for opening bottles! I was going to ding it one star for the fit but not having to listen to that stupid chime made me feel better about them!

Sweet Silence
I use these in both of my vehicles and I will not have a vehicle without one. I don't use these going down the road, but when I am under 10 mph around the ranch, etc., and getting out of the truck to open gates, it is really nice not to have to undo your seatbelt and you don't get the perpetual beeping. The bottle opener part works great too. I would highly recommend getting some bead chain or some other thin rope to make a loop to hang them somewhere as they are very thin and will fall between your seats in a flash.

Prius quiet about my dog in the front seat...
Bought for my car. This works amazingly to quiet the seatbelt alert when something is not able to be belted in. I do NOT use this to escape having a person buckle in. But when my dog is on the front seat and he weighs enough to trigger the alarm... I really don't want to listen to my Prius yelling at me to buckle the person in when it's not happening. So, when I have either a dog in my passenger seat or something else heavy that doesn't get belted in (boxes of stuff, etc), I plug this into the seatbelt area and I don't need my car yelling about the buckle. Do NOT use this when you should be buckling in yourself or a human passenger. I only use it for dogs and objects.

Fits Everything So Far
Pretty cool. So far I’ve had these in a 2007 Cobalt, 2009 Explorer, 2010 Flex, 2016 Taurus, 2015 Police Interceptor and a 2019 Grand Cherokee. It fit perfect in all of them. The first 3 are personal vehicles that I was just experimenting with (I always wear my seatbelt when I’m not at work) and the last 3 are work vehicles that I may have to get out of in a hurry. Clips nicely to a carabiner so I can take it off of my keys to use.

I’ll drink to this
The passenger seat sensor on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler went on the fritz and goes off even when nothing’s on the seat. I didn’t want to mess with crossing any seatbelt/airbag wires so I picked this up. It’s perfect, fits the buckle snugly, small enough to go in the bottom of a cup holder when not needed, and a great conversation starter when people get in for the first time. Worth the money for sure.

The hole is a lie. Does not have the keyring hole.
It functions just fine to open bottles and stop your seatbelt chime. HOWEVER- the pictures show a hole for a keyring. That's a lie. The hole is a lie. Don't believe the lies. But it'll open your beer and stop your seatbelt chime so you can drive around in peace & quiet.I'm kidding, I would never drive around with an open beer. I drink it before I get in the car.

Great tool
Great bottle opener, and works great to stop the seat belt chime while driving at slow speeds on the farm or on back roads.

It works but could be better……
The product quality is good. The only thing I would change is to have the key ring hole on the handle, instead of the opener.
