Works well and easy to install.
I am not sure how long they will last but the got the job done. The metal part of these items are aluminum and, as such, are easily pried off the steel motor shaft so no real need for an especially thin wrench to remove the old one from the blender. YouTube videos abound on how to pry off the old one.

It fits and it works!
I was thrilled to find out (from a facebook fan site) that this part could be replaced and I didn't need to buy a new blender. Easy replacement. Much less expensive than a new blender!

Easy to Install - Perfect Fit!
I wasn’t sure it would fit my 25 year old Kitchenaid blender since my model wouldn’t show on the Amazon part finder. I considered purchasing the one that was direct from Kitchenaid. But I figured a dollar savings Is a dollar saved. So I went with this brand versus the kitchenaid branded one. It fit perfect! I am now back in business! I like the idea of the 2nd one to keep on hand should I have a blender emergency in the future!
