Voodoo Tactical has created a slimmed down version of their heavy-duty field medical pack. Like its larger edition, this pack is an excellent piece of gear for military, law enforcement of civilian medical personnel who need a convenient way to carry an extensive array of medical supplies and equipment into the field. The pack is designed with multiple interior compartments and panels, each loaded with pockets, straps and other attachment points so you can load it with equipment. When you unzip a compartment, the panel is designed to lie flat, providing full access to the necessary supplies. Also includes a removable carry bag for airways, tubes, masks and resuscitation kits. This pack is sold EMPTY and does NOT include the medical supplies and devices used for illustrative purposes in the photography.Pack dimensions are: 20 inches long,15 inches wide, 8 inches deep. Storage Capacity: approximately 2,400 cubic inches/39 liters. Bag weight: 4.4 lbs.

Does the job
Most organizable bag? No. Gonna save the world out of this bag? Doubt it.Rural Sheriff Department was throwing around the idea of adding a medic to their tactical team. Because of my background I was approached and asked to submit a rough draft proposal including supplies, roles and responsibilities and deployment criteria for a tactical medical provider at both BLS and ALS level.Since it was a limited budget I went with this bag ( out of my own pocket. Figured it the county turned it down I could still use it since my fire department requires all members to carry a first aid kit and our local ambulance service normally gives me the ok to operate as a paramedic prior to their arrival as long as radio contact is made )I'm able to carry the items I would need it a hot / warm zone without difficulty. It's easy for all of us in emergency services to over pack, and that can be a serious issue with this bag since organization is not it's strong point. But if you pack it reasonably it gets the job done.I carry an adult BVM and masks for peds and infant. Whole size ET tubes from 2.0-9.0, a surgical airways kit, small laryngoscope handle with 2 curved and 2 straight blades, 2 chest seals, decompression kit, 2 Israeli bandages, 1 1000cc bag of saline, 2 each 16,18, and 20 gauge IV an EZ IO kit and numerous bandages and OTC medications. Also have the where with to carry a small selection of controlled substances that get signed out at the time of a call out and returned if not needed. Not the best bag in the world but it gets the job done if your realistic in your load out

This pack is great but not perfect - there is not a lot ...
This pack is great but not perfect - there is not a lot of room for big bulky things and organization is tough (a combination of no labelling and having too many small places and not many big places). I think this is an issue with the style of the bag, not necessarily this individual product.I think this would be great as an expanded first aid kit. When I say expanded, I mean covers more BLS scope supplies and also just has more room in general than a regular bag. What this bag is not, is a packable hospital room. After buying, that's kind of what I realized I needed, having accidentally bought medical supplies in bulk for a good price.Lastly the straps could be more comfortable! It's okay though.

Great med pack
This is some heavy duty gear right here. Great features, very rugged. Not the lightest pack, but built to withstand some punishment.

Awesome med bag
Super comfortable bag that has worked out great so far on my deployment. The molle on the front allows for additional pouches. Overall a really nice bag.

I'm an emt in a farm Town on a volunteer fire department and it was important to me to have a good BLS bag
I just bought this bag as my go bag in my car. I'm an emt in a farm Town on a volunteer fire department and it was important to me to have a good BLS bag. This was it. It shipped and got to me very quickly. The organization within the bag is great. The two rip away pouches are great for airway or trauma kits. My only complaint about the pouch is that they cannot be placedar in each others positions in the bag. Other than that I have no complaints with this bag. I have a good feeling it will last me a long time in the field.

Pretty good, but could have been great
The good:- Lots of compartments that make organizing pretty straightforward and easy.- Durable build. It just feels like it's going to last through some punishment.- The Molle straps are properly spaced and really well stitched in.- Pretty comfortable.- The velcro has a decent enough hold, though using large patches on it can be a pain because of all the dead space between the velcro that your patch isn't sticking to. Might have been better to put the velcro up above the molle area.Cons:- On the topic of the Molle straps.. WHY IS THERE SO LITTLE OF IT!?!?!? That stuff on the front of the pack that you're looking at? That's it! Why isn't there any on the sides? Or on the waist padding (or a pocket in there too)? Such a missed opportunity that would have GREATLY added to the usability of the product.- After packing it up with all my first aid and trauma supplies (plus a few basic survival aids), the fit was REALLY tight. This thing should have been larger and had an extra compartment. I know they sell a larger version, and maybe that's what I should have gotten, but damn was it expensive for not that much extra (mostly just the extras I've mentioned should have been included in the first place.- The sides of it have the single most useless pockets I've ever seen. One has a velcro pull over cover, which is fine, but the thing is so thing I have no idea what you'd use it for. Maybe if you have a replica magic wand from Harry Potter? Of course you couldn't put it all the way in and use the cover, because then you'd never get it out. This pocket is tighter than.... well, I probably shouldn't say. But it's DAMN tight. The other side has an equally confusing pocket. That one is tight, but at the top it has a looped around strip that has a button clasp. For some reason, it isn't stitched down on the half inch of top space where that strap/strip is sewn onto. At first I thought it must be a mistake, but it's actually designed that way. I have NO idea why. It's really weird. I found I was able to work a tiny mini flashlight in there (it's slightly wider than a AA battery, but not by much). Of course, again, the thing is so tight you can't put anything all the way in there, so I use the clip on the flashlight to keep it up. I don't get why those pockets are there. It's like they knew they were supposed to do something with the space but objected to the idea of putting something useful there.
