Q: How recently was the ghee prepared in India before being shipped to the US?

Thank you for your question. Every 100 liters of Gir cow milk, we get 3-4 kgs of Ghee. So It will take 10-15 days to produce the product before being shipped to the US.

Q: why dont you make ghee from curd, seperating cow's milk from cream does it retain the nutrion, won't it have different fatty content

Thank you for your question! In fact, Ghee made from both cultured cream and curd have the same nutritional properties. Ghee's that are made from curd have a higher free acid content, which increases the speed of oxidation and rancidness creating a shorter shelf life. Divine Ghee however is made from the cultured cream separated from the milk, resulting in a more stable fat content and much longer shelf life without having to add unwanted preservatives, artificial flavors and/or chemicals.
