Tutto ok stavolta!

Netter Spin off

Cute and Fun Side-Stories
*High School DxD: Asia & Koneko's Secret Contract!?*F is not all that serious a tale. In fact, it is not one story, but several side stories loosely tied together. Said side stories seem to be designed for humor and cuteness. One way to look at this volume is basically as a big breather episode from the more dramatic and action-y regular stories.the entire premise is a simple one, really. Rias Gremory, Asia's Master as a newly reincarnated devil wants to make sure she receives proper training in fulfilling contracts with potential clients. To this end, she has Asia team up with classmate and more experienced devil, Koneko.Of course, Asia has no clue what she is in for in doing jobs with Koneko. You see, Koneko's clients seem to have a bit of a loli fetish, or else be really playful and young. To this end, Asia is not put in danger, per se. Instead, she is put in somewhat unusual, to say the least, not to mention embarrassing, situations. Cosplay, love advice, finding the panty thief (yes I'm serious), anything seems to go.One thing that was nice about this volume was how low-key and innocent it was in general. I don't mind, and in some cases like, the fan-service and action of DxD normally. But in this case it would not have worked with the tone of the stories. It had some fan-service obviously, but in general, kept to the tone of the collection. It was kinda nice, in the midst of such an action oriented series to have some humorous and just fun stories. The art was not anything impressive. But then again, I don't think it was intended to be. This is a gag series of side stories so it was illustrated thusly. Granted, the regular manga isn't always Illustrated super beautifully or anything, but this was even more so arguably, and that deliberately so.This were some sweet, funny, and endearing that I really enjoyed. Highly recommended.

A nice treat for High School DxD fans.
First off, this book is MUCH tamer than the main High School DxD books. The most suggestive thing about this whole book is the cover. Sure, there are a few boob jokes, but over all, the manga is pretty PG-13 (as there is no detailed nudity to speak of, and Issei's usual barrage of dirty jokes is completely absent.)The manga is really just a small collection of short stories focused on Asia and Koneko working together. There is no real story arch, just small, goofy adventures, and outside of Asia and Koneko, none of the other main cast members do much. So, if you are already a fan of the High School DxD series, then this is a must read, as it is a chance to see two very fun characters outside of the usual Rias and Issei driven plots of the main series. If you are not familiar with the world of High School DxD then you should probably hold off on this book and start with the first season of the anime, or the first volume of the manga. These stories have one real goal. To be cute. They are cute. Very cute. The art is simple, but pretty, and the characters are all recognizable, while still reworked to fit the more playful, adorable style of the stories. It is also nice that this book is a bit of a break from the near constant fan service of the main series. Considering the stories told here are all from Asia's perspective, it isn't much of a shock. There is a little fan service here, but most of it just consists of the two main characters wearing cute cosplay style costumes (one story has them working as magical girls in an amusement park, one has them as waitresses, one has them at the pool. You get the idea.)This book is purely for fans of High School DxD. It is a light, fluffy bit of side story goodness that sets out to create something fun and cute, and succeeds. Recommended.

Fill the contract - fill the card
How do new devils gain status - by doing jobs and doing them well. Well Asia is starting her path to being a new devil, and she has help with Koneko. From Cosplay fashion shows, to panty thief capturing, to maid cafe servers - can these two devilsih cuties rise up and complete each request.this is just a side story, but it not only fills in a gap that most people would not notice - but it is enjoyable and light hearted. While still a mature title, it is a bit milder than the main story and a must read for fans of the series.

How Bonds of Friendship are Built!
This set of stories seems to take place between volumes 2 and 3 of the High School DxD, the Lite Novel Series written by Ichiei Ishibumi. You notice in the Anime and now the Manga that Koneko and Asia are very close and these stories give you the details behind that friendship. I have read all the reviews and this series is enjoyed by young and old (I'm a Otaku Senior over 60) alike. Fanservice is actually converted to cuteness in this volume. It shows how the strong bonds of friendship are built in the devil and the "real" world of Ichiei Ishibumi!
