Link Depot Computer Case Cooling Fan FAN-80-4PACK Black

I wanted to contribute this review since there was only one other review for this product and it gave a terrible rating because the picture was incorrect at some time in the past, but didn't update their rating when the picture was corrected.I bought this pack of fans, and not only are they the cheapest 4 pack of 80mm fans I could find on the internet (right now), they also claim to push 70+ CFM, which is a whole lot for case fans. I've been using them for other ventilation applications, and I'm very satisfied with them so far. They aren't quiet, and if mounted at a weird angle (say 45 degrees pointing upwards), you may occasionally get grinding noises. Despite this, they've been running for months without serious issue, and I'll probably buy them again if they break or have other problems. They don't all seem to have the same airflow, but they're great for the price.

I ordered this thinking that it would come with a power supply and switch as it appears in the picture. What arrived was a box with four fans, no power supply and no switches.When I contacted the seller, asking if this was a mistake, they sent back a form response telling me how to return the item. I wrote back, asking if they even have power supplies for these fans, and they did not respond.I will not order from this supplier again.[Edit] They seem to have updated the picture, which is now (11/13/09) accurate. A bit more detail: each fan has a combo male/female jack, so you can daisy chain multiple fans together. The jacks are flimsy, and the pins move around quite a bit. You need to manipulate the pins for a while before you can get them to fit. The fans themselves are not particularly quiet -- you will definitely hear them. But if you have them in an enclosed space, it may not matter

A lot of the negative reviews state they thought the fans would come with a power supply, Im not sure why you'd expect that but oh well.Each fan has its own Molex in/out adapter pre configured to run them in series with your current PC's case power supply, And they run very queit at full load. I used these in the side of a custom ammo box Gaming case to allow more airflow to my pci-e cards using a homemade bracket mount and they each work just fine. For the price I will probably buy another 4-pack just to have a few lying around for when they are needed.

Bunch of fans. These move air at a high enough volume to help cool the inside of my computer. Connectors are cheaply made so you've got to wiggle them in. But not a big deal.

Great for the price. Haven't run them long but they seem to be made well enough. Would be better if some other connecters were provided with it.

Great for cooling, but they're fairly loud. If you're looking for quiet, this is not the way to go. But, they move air :)

good value and does the job. Keep it simple and make it affordable and they will come. Fairly silent also.

4 fans for 5 bucks!!! These little fans come with 4 screws apiece, I love that. They blow so much I put a deflector on the outside of the case to blow up because of where I have my case placed.
