I bought the happimess Marco 10.5-gallon double bucket as a cleaner-looking upgrade from the usual single-bin setup, and it’s been a really nice quality-of-life improvement. The two-compartment design makes it easy to separate trash and recycling without needing two separate cans, and the step pedal + soft-close lid is the best part, no more lid slamming, and it closes down smoothly and quietly. It also looks more “modern home” than “garage can.” The finish is marketed as fingerprint-resistant, and in day-to-day use it’s been noticeably less smudgy than a lot of stainless cans I’ve owned. The overall footprint is fairly compact for a dual bin (about 16.14" x 17.52" x 23.62") so it doesn’t eat up a ton of kitchen space. A couple of small caveats: because the 10.5 gallons is split into two buckets, each side fills faster than a single large can (roughly ~5.25 gal per side), so if you generate a lot of trash or recycling you’ll empty it more often. Overall, if you want a sleek, space-saving trash + recycling solution with a quiet soft-close lid and a solid pedal, this one is an easy recommendation.

I really like this model. So much so that I bought a new one to replace the old one that broke for poor use after 2 years (don’t abuse the pedal, or force the lid shut). Definitely worth the price, very high quality, sturdy, and aesthetically beautiful. It can open very strongly if you press the pedal with force, so be gentle and keep it a little bit distant from the wall to avoid it from hitting it. I love how the lid shuts, it’s not noisy at all. I use regular 13 gallon tall kitchen trash bags and it works perfectly.

I needed a compact trash can with two compartments and this was exactly what I needed. It holds a decent amount of recycling and trash if you’re just one or two people. (I would not recommend this size can for a family). It’s sturdy, and the open/close mechanism feels like a good quality. I like that you can also open it without the foot pedal and it stays open. It looks sleek, and the color is a nice soft white. Another plus is it comes with bags! Steel trashcans are pretty expensive, but I thought this one was a fair price for the function, size, quality, and look.

Works well, seems durable except for the lid which dents pretty easily. But then again, is just as easy to pop back into place. Easy to clean and perfect size and appearance for the kitchen.

This trash bin is amazing. It arrived in excellent condition, with bin liners included. The yellow color is so perfect, and the finish is a mat finish, instead of glossy, which is fantastic because it doesn’t show finger prints or such. The size of the two individual bins inside is on the smaller size. That has taken some getting used to. I went from a trash bin about the same size as the entire bin, dedicated only to trash, to this split one. But I love to be able to have my recyclables and my trash all together in one easy place. The bin is sturdy, and well made, the soft close lid works great. And it looks great in my kitchen. I’ve even received compliments on it.

Love the color!! The 2 bins are small, I was planning to have one side for recycling and the other for trash, it’s so small that they’re end up being used for trash.

This trash can arrived quickly, packaged securely, and looks even better in person; the pistachio gelato color is gorgeous and modern. I keep it outside the cabinet since it’s larger than a typical under-cabinet can, but that was exactly my goal: I wanted a trash can that looks beautiful enough to keep on display in the kitchen. The soft-close lid works smoothly and is very quiet. Standard 13-gallon bags fit perfectly in both sides. I use one side for trash and the other for recycling; super convenient. For the quality, design, and function, it’s absolutely worth the price. Highly recommend if you want a stylish trash can that also does the job really well!

I really love the design of this trash can - it has nice compartments for separating trash from recycling, and the foot pedal feels very solid. I also really like how easy the custom liners are to use and how nicely they fit. My only issue is that mine arrived with a dent. Not so big that I wanted to return it - that just felt wasteful. But I did reach out to Happimess about a partial refund or even just sending me some extra liners. And sadly they just wanted me to return the can via Amazon, which I can't in good conscience do. So just know, you'll get a great trash can, and maybe it'll have a dent.

Mein absoluter Favorit, jedoch ist die Mechanik aus Kunststoff und kann nach längerer Zeit unter dem Mülleimer abbrechen, so dass die Fußtaste nicht mehr vollständig öffnet.

Estéticamente bonita y para mí bien de espacio para la basura orgánica y reciclaje. El problema es para poner las bolsas de basura. Es engorroso y poco práctico para poder sujetarlas y la tapa al bajar es ruidosa.
