Lacking deeper bass; slightly tinny treble; tampered package missing earbud sizes
I just received the headphones, wanting to try a more economical version than the Alpatronix, which has an identical design, which i really liked - but immediately lost! - but the package arrived this morning containing only the TINY earbuds that were already on the item. It fell out of my ear with slight movement, though I was able to test them, at the gym, as well as eventually compare them to a pair of Alpatronix at my friend's apartment. But as I said, I was surprised that the package didn't offer multiple earbuds. When opening the packaged, I noticed that it had been closed with scotch tape, which seemed pretty unprofessional. Then I saw the text on the package which indicated that indeed it was SUPPOSED to come with three sets of earbuds. The Alpatronix are about $19 and these are about $13, so I thought I would try these cheaper alternatives, and save some money - only hoping that because they had the identical design, that perhaps the inner workings were the same. Initially, the sound sounded okay, though it didn't blow me away as my memory of the Alpatronix - but when I stacked them up against the Alpatronix, switching back and forth between songs, is when the difference was startlingly clear.Differences:* about 20% lighter, thinner materials vs Alpatronix. Not flimsy, but doesn't feel as richly solid* treble was noticeably tinny* bass was where the other big difference was, and the other deal breaker: thin bass lacking depth and fullnessSo the iKross loses hands-down compared to the Alpatronix, which has sturdier feel, richer bass and richer treble.Granted you pay $19 for the Alpatronix instead of $13 for the iKross - and clearly I had hoped to save th $6 - but for me, the quality differential was big enough that it would be worth paying an additional $6 for the bass and treble. But again, if you hadn't heard them side by side, you might not be aware of the possibilities and what you're missing. Once you do, the choice is easy.My recommendation: spend $19 on the Alpatronix, rather than trying to save $6 for a cheaper replica - and don't lose them like I did! (For $19, I'm going to try to put my contact info on my next pair in case I lose them!)

They work great, but the button can rattle
I have been using these almost daily since purchasing them in December 2012, and they work very well. The material on the earpiece is very soft and has allowed me to use them for hours on end with no discomfort; a problem I have encountered with other in-ear earphones. The sound quality is also good, and I have never had issues with hearing other people, audiobooks, or music. The only issue I have encountered with this product is the button on the cord mounted on/off button. It does not have a tight fit in the housing and freely moves around. The microphone is located on the opposite side of this housing, which is made out of a hard plastic. When moving around, the button can rattle and the microphone will pick it up causing a clicking noise.I ended up putting a small piece of tape over the button to gently hold the button in place while still allowing me to press the button. If you are using these just to listen to music or audio books, then you will never notice the rattle. These are still very good earphones and I just had to remove a star for the rattling button. If the button did not rattle, then these would definitely be a 5 star product. In fact, one of my rabbits even chewed on the chord, exposing a few wires, and they still work without any issues.

Good quality and good sound through microphone.
Bought for traveling abroad and talking on IPad through a cheap international VoIP phone app. They worked outstanding for that and are great for music and general use as well. Very comfortable and I was very surprised at how well the microphone worked. People usually hate it when others use these types of things, but I would ask people how I sounded and they always said they couldn't tell I wasn't using the normal phone mouthpiece. I was very impressed with the quality overall.

A good deal
These earbuds work fine, with a little bit of noise cancellation from the environment. They seem robust and the wires certainly are much less prone to tangle than the Apple earbuds that came with my iPhone (which broke after 2 weeks). This product has a "start/stop" button on the microphone, but does not have volume "up/down" controls. The ear pieces fit into my ear comfortably, more so than the Apple earbuds did. For the price, I consider this an excellent purchase.

Strange but very good
Strange because of the noise canceling feature that I'm sure I'll get used to. But I'm partially deaf and these in-ear stereo earphones make it possible for me to talk to people on my cell phone (Nexus 4). In many cases if I didn't have my wife to translate, I'd get lost attempting to understand people using the phone normally or in speaker mode. These earphones do away with that problem. Music is much more to the bass side than my Koss C-100s that are only good for listening, but not so much so that I might bother changing. The Koss are not nearly as portable and I think of them mainly as a computer accessory. That the iKross in-ears come with three sizes of ear buds is pretty much the icing on the cake on a pair of easy to transport earphones that suit my situation perfectly.

Buy it, you won't regret it
I use these for business travel; listening to music or participating in phone/teleconferences while sitting in airports. The earbuds have different sized rubber ends, so you can use the right size for you, they're comfortable, they sound great and block out sounds around me pretty well, and when I'm on the phone, the other person hears me clearly. I have asked people if it sounds like I'm calling from a "tunnel", and they had no idea that I was talking on a device like this. Buy it if you need something like this, you won't regret it. If Bose, Dre, or Apple sold this product with their logo, people would probably line up like lemmings and pay five times more!

Initally great headphones however.. Suddenly stopped working in less than a month
I bought this product a little over a month ago. While using I really liked the sound quality and the comfort of it in my ears. Used it on a daily basis for school and gym. However a little over a week ago, I started having lot of problems with the headphones. The sound suddenly became very quiet and hollowed. Whenever the wire moved the full sound would come and go without consistency. I have kept the headphones pretty much in perfect condition and taken good care of them so not sure why its suddenly like this.

TAPE THE JACK
I really, really like these headphones - they sound great, they're hard to tangle, and they work pretty well with my Android phone. I like them so much that I'm on my fourth pair.Which is the problem. After 3-4 months of daily use, they'll fail. I'm thinking that reinforcing the cord at stress points - just above the jack and where the cords separate - will give them a lot of extra mileage.Oh, and sometimes they shock you when you press the button. But not, like, a ton.

HIGH Quality Earphones
I was surprised by the quality of these earphones !! Noise canceling as mentioned and work perfectly with my Galaxy S4 to make and receive calls. The music quality is also very nice, they sound and feel like high quality. If you are thinking of getting them, don't hesitate , for the price you are going to pay you cannot get anything better. My girlfriend liked them so much that she is ordering a pair too!

the sound from these headphones is a little bit muddy and unclear but the bass is really nice. Another problem I found with thes
I bought these headphones after the ones that came with my galaxy S5 unexpectedly broke, the sound from these headphones is a little bit muddy and unclear but the bass is really nice. Another problem I found with these headphones, if I put them in my ears it makes an odd sound and feels like you're plugging your ears with your fingers, this isn't a huge problem because it is easily resolved by re positioning the ear buds, and is something I experienced with all 3 sizes of ear buds. These are the only problems I've found with these headphones and is something I would recommend if they are on sale because I got them for 15 dollars, and I would consider them good for that price range.Pros:Good bassComfortableWell builtCheap price pointCons:Somewhat muddy audioNo volume buttons

Pleasantly surprised and impressed
I ordered these to get a cheap pair of earphones for phone calls. Turns out they sound better than my JLab J4s, and much better than the Zero Tenores I ordered at the same time. The cable is flat like the J4s, but not as thick. However, I get less residual noise from the cable moving on my chest from these iKross than I do from the J4s.I like the angled way these fit into my ears--I can wear them all day without discomfort. And the microphone works well--no complaints from anyone I'm talking to when using them.Overall these are a great value. I've been pleasantly surprised by how good they sound. FWIW, I tend to listen to classical, jazz, latin, electronica, house, and industrial music, and it sounds good with all the genres.

Good for the money you pay, a few minor problems...
It's the second week that I'm using it and the quality of sound and mic is good. So far I had a minor problem that the black cover on the pin is completely detached (look at the picture I've attached) but it doesn't affect the performance (quality of sound). I should say that I'm extremely careful when I use them, so it wasn't my fault and it's the poor quality. The cable is 1.2 m long (standard size) and is tangle free (spaghetti shaped!). For the money you pay, I'd say you get a decent earphone.

Great fit, great price, great bass
These earphones are a steal for $15. Much better than the stock apple or samsung ones. It has great noise isolation, the bass is booming, and they really do sound great. Got a pair for my mom and she loved them. After some personal experience with it, they did get a bit uncomfortable after long listening sessions. And the bass could be tighter. Overall still a great buy

Eletricutes my ear
They worked great for maybe a week and then it started shocking the inside of my ear. I would be jamming to some sick beats like Death Grips' Fashion show and then *bzzz* my ear gets tasered. After this terrible experience I went to the apple store and bought $30 headphones with a year warranty.

Very nice earphones !
At first I have to admit I was a bit dubious on the design and how they would feat inside my ears. They are actually great ! Even if it is not that obvious in the pics, they are well designed to fit great. They seem solid and very light. Also the noise cancellation is pretty good.I have been looking around and found many other earphones. I do not regret my choice today.

Biggidy-BANG for your BUCK
Earphone quality:Build - 7/10Volume - 8/10Bass - 6/10Appearance - 9/10Price - 7/10TOTAL = 7.5The earphones are great bang for your buck. The packaging was excessive, but carried extra ear buds. Shipping was RIDICULOUS for me, a Canadian. I ordered it on the 23rd of October, the product says 'Usually ships in 2 to 3 days'. The estimated arrival date was November 7th-15th. It arrived the 30th.

not as good as the one which came with my Samsung Galaxy ...
The black cover/cap (with word "iKross) over the plug in pin came off after 2 weeks. I had to tape it to prevent accidentally pulling it out. The sound so-so, not as good as the one which came with my Samsung Galaxy SII. Nice that it came with 3 different sizes of ear buds.

Worth it?
Tbh they sound amazing! I just bought my 3rd pair. First one set lasted me a little over a year, however my second set lasted me less than 3 months (left side stoped working out of the blue). I'll still them again... Totally worth the price.

Disappointed with the product
It arrived on time (before arrival indicated) but the product did not function since the moment I took it out of the package. I didn't have super high hopes considering these headphones were $15 but I at least expected them to work for a while out of the box.
