Nice item for fidgetting with, but not cheap
I bought this to fidget with while I was on the phone in work, as my calls can take a while to complete. Although it is quite good fun and you can make some creative structures, the pieces are quite small and all in all the item is fairly expensive for what it is. It is well crafted and will last a life time, if it was cheaper, I would be more inclined to recommend it more. It would make a good stocking filler for the kids, this time of year, you would just need to be careful with the small pieces, but it would keep them quiet for some time, if they have a good imagination or are in any way creative. I would like to recommend it higher, but for the price, I think 3 stars is fair.

I had geomag as a kid, loved it but wanted something more adult looking, it's a bit more fiddly with all the small pieces but the effects can be well worth the effort, I got 2 of these before christmas I was planning on getting at least 2 more but they're now out of stockA single pack is enough magnets and balls to make a level 3 tetraheadron -> level 1 is 4 balls 6 magnets, level 2 is 4x level 1 connected at the corners, and level 3 is 4x level 2 connected at the corners. Definitely my favourite shape so far but want to make a level 4 there are plenty of other geometric patterns to be made, I'm might try something like a buckyball next

only bars are magnetic not the balls dont be fooled
good product but from the write up sounds like you are buying magnetic bars and magnetic balls,WRONG, the bars ARE magnetic but the balls are just metal balls. for the money i paid nearly double to others sold on amazon and other sites for the same thing and i done this thinking all the things were magnetic, i feel ripped off by cute wording of the product.

This toy can kill the time
Magnetic rods and balls are easily attracted together. you need time and patience to separate them. However, for me who often travel by train, this toy can kill the time easily for me.

Quite small pieces
For the price, this item has quite small pieces, which can make it difficult to create shapes etc... especially as the magnets are quite powerful. Not sure about the 'stress relief' qualities due to size of the bearings and rod sizes - perhaps go for a bigger set.

My boy and husband love these magnet building blocks. We purchased two of them total 296 magnets. they are very strong magnets and you can build different 3d shapes. They come in a nice metal tin. Very happy with the purchase

Excellent building kit for adults!
Excellent and therapeutic "toy". Many possibilities. The only problem is that I've had to buy three sets to extend my sculptures. Pieces are small and it has to be used on a flat surfaces, away from sofa edges!

Disappointing.!
We were disappointed with the size of this item, expected to be larger. The magnets were powerful. We did not pay enough attention to size so our fault. Arrived very quickly and well packaged.
