Organic Shiitake Mushroom Powder 100g

Good quality, well packaged. I like not having to look for it in stores. Adds great taste and nutrition to many dishes.

I had high hopes for this considering the price, but when using on steaks did not notice a noticeable taste difference.It is very good in scrambled eggs but will change the color of your eggs slightly.

includes rice as a filler! I just wanted shiitake!

I do love this product. A little goes a long way. I bought this as I was listening to the chef aboard the Rocky Mountain Railroad say he used mushroom powder to coat his chicken. I had never heard of mushroom powder. I could not find in stores. I will order portabella next time to try that. I will say there is not recipe booklet that came with it. But you can use in gravy, hamburgers, meatloaf, coating chicken and pork. I use that in addition to any other flour/bread crumbs etc .

I like it but there's not enough in this package for that price, I've been mixing it in a yogurt and eat it everyday, the package last for a week only.

I hadn't tried the powder before. It's great in sauces, soups and salad dressings for adding richness and flavor!
