Delicious
I love the taste of these bars. They are a quick and easy snack that isn't totally loaded with sugar. Amazon delivers it with an ice pack, so it stays fresh.

Great tasting if you love seeds and nuts; Quality organic ingredients; Great as a snack
This vegan, grain-free, gluten-free Superfood Bar (PEANUT BUTTER variety) is made up of seeds and nuts, giving the bar a chunky, irregular appearance. The manufacturer recommends that you refrigerate these bars, so I did that upon getting it.But, I wanted to see the difference between eating a bar that had been taken out of the fridge and left out on the counter versus eating the bar right away after taking it out of the fridge.I left one bar out for a few hours and then ate it. The bar was soft to the touch, with a moist consistency, and not that crunchy upon eating it. It was chewy and tiny bits fell away as I bit into the bar. But, it did not taste as if it was spoiled/stale.I ate one bar that I got out of the fridge; the bar was firmer to the touch. I like the taste (crunchier) and flavor better (doesn't taste as oily when eaten right out of the fridge). Unlike crunchy bars from other brands that are so hard that they are difficult to bite into, these are easy to bite into, even when eating it right after I took it out of the fridge.Even though this is the peanut butter variety, there is more taste of seeds and nuts, and not as much taste of peanut butter. The taste was what I'd expect of a snack that is made up of seeds and nuts (among other ingredients). It has a bit of sweetness to it.I ate several bars at home; I took a few bars to work, left them in the fridge, and ate them for a snack. One bar is enough for me as a mid-afternoon snack while I am at work. I like to eat a snack bar in the last couple hours of work, just to keep my energy up.I'd buy these to eat while at work.Expiration date found on back of package; you need to lift the crease, as the date is on the other side of the Ingredients label. FLAVOR is SUBPAR
I had high hopes for this product, but I have to admit, it was mediocre at best. To give this product a fair chance, I did refrigerate the bars before taste testing them.As far as some general observations, the bars are VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE, and GRAIN FREE, which is impressive for those who are allergic to grains or gluten.I don't find anything is fantastic about this product, and it was not at all what I was expecting. To begin on a positive note, the packaging was EXTREMELY lovely! All eight bars came in the same small cardboard box and a plastic wrapping which has a gorgeous design (honestly one of the main reasons I wanted to try the product). Other than the packaging, not a ton is excellent. The texture is not great. The bar is a bunch of hard and lumpy seeds and nuts combined into one crunchy bar. After you get past the texture, the flavor is severely lacking. Because all the nuts are solid in the bar, the consumer receives several different flavors at once, which is slightly unpleasant and offputting.Once you get past the texture and taste, you then realize you paid THIRTY-TWO dollars for eight bars, which average FOUR dollars per bar, which in my opinion is absurd for something lacking in flavor. I can understand the reason they cost so much is because of the all natural ingredients which are FANTASTIC, but the taste has the potential to be much better.Overall, the bar doesn't have great taste or texture and is very overpriced for the taste. Ultimately taste is just a preference, so for those with restricted diets or those who enjoy vegan snacks, you may want to try this product out!

A nice tasty snack but watch the calories: 280 per bar & keep them COLD
This is the second flavor I’ve tried of OHi superfood bars—the first was coconut macadamia. This flavor is peanut butter. I like that the peanut butter wasn’t peanut-butter from the jar taste. However, I kind of wanted a little more peanut butter taste—perhaps the title should indicate they are Peanut-Cocoa Nib taste instead of peanut butter.Right off I will tell you that you must refrigerate them and let them grow cold before you eat them, otherwise the taste and texture will not be as good. In fact, I don’t like them at all without their being cold, as they fall apart and the taste just isn’t quite there.Out of the refrigerator, they’re tasty, though I do prefer the coconut flavor and it received my five stars. There are cocoa nibs in there that add a bitter quality but not in an unpleasant way. I did have one hard piece in my bar, which was unpleasant, and I think that was a hardened cocoa nib (I hope), so just a head’s up on that. It’s part of the reason for the 4 stars versus the 5 I gave the coconut macadamia, and part of it is I just prefer the coconut taste.I use these as a snack, or when I’m on the go and can’t eat a meal right away. They’d be great for hiking, but you’d have to find a way to keep them cold or the texture is a pain as they crumble. These peanut butter bars had peanuts, cocoa nibs, lots of seeds, and are plant-based, gluten-free, grain-free. They do have 7g of sugar, but that’s less than some protein bars or so-called energy bars I’ve bought. These are not protein bars but more like ‘energy bars’ — they are 280 calories each so that’s quite a pop of calories for the size of these bars. I gulped a little at that.I had one with my cup of coffee when I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to prepare breakfast and it satisfied me enough, but I wouldn’t normally use them as a meal replacement as they don’t last long enough. But as a snack, perfect.Find the flavor you like in these OHi and you’ll be happy with them. Although, they are expensive, so I’d really have to think about whether I want to include them in my tight budget. I’d likely order the coconut ones again.
