The containers themselves are lovely, and are perfect to repurpose for small gifts/trinkets. Just place the candle in the freezer overnight, then take it out and bang it on a counter or on the inside of a trashcan to get the remaining wax out.Most of the scents were good (I liked the Amber scent most), except for the Cinnamon one (which smelled so disgusting, I had to throw it out). The scents didn't carry too far either, barely covering a bedroom. The wicks also aren't self trimming, so you have to be careful to cut them every time you use the candle. If you don't do this, there will be lots of smoke and possibly sparks. The wax also cooled very odd, in a bubbly and rippled effect that looked rather ugly. I wouldn't recommend purchasing these and would rather shell out a bit more for nicer candles/scents.

Nice pleasant sent but READ the wick trimming instructions!Candle metal structure can get HOT! Trim wick first. Follow safety instructions.Almost accidentally burned the house down when we stepped away for a few moments and the flames rose high from the wick burning high flames from the base until we smelled the smoke and caught it in time.After putting it out. The pretty base was extremely hot for some reason? Maybe it was the metal casing design?ALWAYS WATCH CANDLES AND DON' LEAVE HOUSE WITHOUT PUTTING OUT FIRST!

I got these for a gift of a family member of mine who is very eco friendly and earth conscious and I had two concerns: whether they would smell way too strong and how nice they were in their containers. They are absolutely beautiful and they have this wonderful subtle smell. Not too strong but I can tell will burn beautifully and the reusable candle holders are adorable. Very cool designs and durable material with lids!

When I saw this collection of candles, I thought it would be the perfect gift for those extended families members that you feel obligated to treat during the holidays. These candles were SO AWFUL, I'd rather endure teh embarassment of not even giving them anything because these candles were simply embarassing. They're decieving though, because they appears super cute on the outside, but once you open them... you could regret this purchase just like me.

Giftable. The tins are pretty. Not very scented when burned and doesn't last long, but you get 4.

Cute packaging. Scent is ok depending on what you like. I can see where these candles could be dangerous. We just finished burning the 1st of the pack we got and it caught fire in the tin.

Nice little giftable candles. Not big on scent but they work to set around the tub for when I take a bath.

The tins are beautiful and they come packaged very well ready to be gifted
