Review: Empty Extension Cable Reel. - So far this is doing what it was bought for. I had a 50mtr extension cable that was been used outdoors for cleaning the car, power tools, hedge cutting etc. The old reel was in bits, and was a real pain to tidy up after use. I thought I'd give blank reel a go, plus most of the existing reviews were positive. It was very straightforward transferring my old cable on to the new reel. If your confident wiring a plug, wiring this won't cause you too many issues. So far its exactly what I expected for the price point and it's doing the job it was intended for. Recommended.

**Q: What ampage will this take?**
A: I use it as an extension for garden tools ,drills saws ,grinders and it hasnt caused me any problems so far .it has a 13 amp fuse fitted to the plug and I have aprrox 30 metres of rubber covered heavt duty cable fitted to it , as it is used in rough areas . I has never blown fuses yet ,nor has the protection cut out activated!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's okay a tad light weight

It's okay will do the trick, I have put 25mtrs cable on from the old one, photos enclosed. It doesn't feel very rugged so I wouldn't trust it with 50mtrs. Very disappointed that it does not come with a rubber grommet to thread the cable through onto the body to avoid chaffing and give it a bit of weather protection. I think it is expensive for what it is so not worth the money
