This does the trick and what I needed. My other battery was fried and this helped me get back the luxury of not having to have my laptop plugged in for a couple of hours.

Not a strong battery.
The battery is easy to install. The use time is not good.

It's such a pleasure to have a battery that recharges so I don't always have to be plugged in!Battery arrived in good packaging and fit my HP envy 17 perfectly. Did a full charge on the battery and it works well. A much better deal than the HP name brand at a fraction of the cost. Would Purchase again.

OEM Won’t Run all HPs
This is an OEM battery & my laptop wouldn’t charge it or run off of it so I had to return it
